[VIDEO] Korean Netizens Have Divided Opinions Over APRIL Nauen's 'Mommy, I Peed Myself' Dance

On the Oct. 31 episode of "Knowing Bros", Naeun imitates how a shy five-year-old would dance after her fellow member, Chaekyung volunteered her to dance. As she dances, she is heard saying phrases young children usually say, such as"Mommy, look at me!" and "Daddy, look at me!"
She ends her dance by sliding down to the ground and cutely saying, "Mommy, I peed myself."
Following the episode's airing, the official "Knowing Bros" YouTube channel shared the clip with the title "Dance that expresses a five-year-old's thoughts." The video became insanely popular and, as of Nov. 13, has surpassed 1.7 million views. Though the views would make people think they loved her aegyo, it actually received mixed receptions from viewers.
Some netizens said that a 22-year-old (21 years old internationally) imitating how a five-year-old dance is far from funny. Many also agreed that it seemed like she was doing whatever she could to receive fame or attention, but that Naeun didn't have to do that since she is already extremely popular in South Korea.

Some also say that if she is cute doing these types of dances now, she must have been even cuter doing it as a child.

As fans continue to defend Naeun, many netizens have resurfaced an old Instagram post of Naeun. Last year, the idol shared a short clip of herself back when she was a child with the caption "Little Naeun's dance skills."
In her Instagram post, her younger self is seen dancing. Her moves are notably similar to how she danced in the "Knowing Bros" episode, which has led people to wonder if she was just imitating herself.
