Oh My Girl's Arin, Too Touchy with TXT's Soobin? Fans Not Happy, and Slams Her
After photos of Oh My Girl member Arin, and TXT member Soobin, have made their rounds on numerous online community forums, Korean netizens are slamming Arin for allegedly being too touchy with Soobin. Read more about it here.
On July 20, it was announced that TXT's Soobin and Oh My Girl's Arin would be taking over as hosts for KBS2's program "Music Bank." They took over the role after actress Shin Ye Eun, and Golden Child member Bomin stepped down after a year. They started their MC roles on July 24.
As hosts of "Music Bank," they are often in charge of interviewing the artists who come on the show. They also introduce the next performances. "Music Bank" has been on air ever since 1998, and currently airs live every Friday on KBS2 and KBS World. The program showcases live music performances from Korean artists and also features the K-Chart Countdown, which informs fans of the top 50 songs in South Korea in real-time. Additionally, the program always presents an award to whatever song lands the number one spot.
Arin and Soobin have been MCs of the show for almost four months now. With that, it is natural for the two to become friends and get close. However, Korean netizens are commenting that Arin has progressively gotten touchier with Soobin and sometimes seen holding onto his arm. Netizens are slamming the girl and demanding she starts changing her habits.
