NATURE Sohee Cast as Female Lead in Upcoming Web Drama

NATURE's Sohee will be appearing in a new web drama as a female lead next year!

On Nov. 16, the singer's agency n.CH Entertainment stated that Sohee was cast as the female protagonist in the upcoming web drama entitled "Bubble Up," which is scheduled to air in the first half of 2021.

"Bubble Up" is a romance web drama in which a 19-year-old girl made her first step into society and grew through her corporate life in a broadcasting company. Sae Young writes it and to be directed by Park Soo Chul.

In the web drama, Sohee will be taking one of the leading roles, particularly a girl named On Hayoung, a new employee of the 3-month BJ Communication Team of the broadcasting platform Bubble TV.

Hayoung is described as a strong girl who started her social life at an earlier stage and is a character who tries not to live the same life as others, saying that she will go on her way. Moreover, On Hayoung is a stubborn person who will express whatever she wants to say and do whatever she desires. NATURE Sohee's character is full of personality.

At present, the artist is playing the female lead in the web drama titled "The Diary of My Fan Life," which started airing this past February. The drama aims to display the real-life situation of K-Pop fans. NATURE's Sohee takes the main character named Lee Bori who is a student in the Photography Department and is gearing up to look for a job. She is bashful and the type of person who will not say a word even if something bothers her.

B.A.P's Jung Daehyun also plays the main role In "The Diary of My Fan Life." He acts as Han Kangwoo, who keeps his photos for personal collection.In 2017, the female idol also appeared as herself in one of the episodes of the web drama "Part-Time Idol" and other well-known K-Pop stars, including BLACKPINK's Jisoo, ELRIS's Bella, WINNER members Seungyoon, Jinwoo, and Seunghoon, and more.

On that same year, NATURE Sohee was invited to KBS TV reality show "Idol Drama Operation Team," together with MAMAMOO's Moonbyul, Red Velvet's Seulgi, SONAMOO's D.ana, Oh My Girls' YooA, and Lovelyz's Sujeong. The idols were asked to make their own Korean drama series that they would write and in which they would act as themselves.

The drama they agreed on creating is an autobiographical one and is titled "Let's Only Walk The Flower Road." It consists of eight episodes that show the story of seven idol trainees and their daily struggles.

Meanwhile, Sohee first debuted as a member of CIVA, a project girl group made through Mnet's "The God of Music 2" in July 2016. One month later, she became part of another female project act called IBI, which is made up of eliminated participants from the first season of "Produce 101."

The idol then made her solo debut in November 2017 with the extended play "The Fillette," containing its lead single "Sobok Sobok," featuring Fiestar's Yezi. Then, in October 2019, she joined n.CH Entertainment and was added to the girl group Nature.
