BTOB's new sub-unit has captured the attention of international fans with their first release.

BTOB 4U was formed in October of this year with members Minhyuk, Peniel, Eunkwang, and Changsub. Minhyuk detailed that the name "4U" means "for you" and that it also refers to the four members. On Nov. 16, the unit released their very first mini-album, titled "INSIDE," marking their debut as the second sub-unit of BTOB.

The music video of the album's lead single "Show Your Love" was also shared on that same day. "Show Your Love" is defined as a moombahton dance track that is composed of a hopeful message to live and love one another even during hard times. The MV surpassed 1 million views just 8 hours after it was dropped, and as of Nov. 18 KST, the video already has 4.3 million views.

BTOB's Hyunsik, who's currently doing his military service, participated in the lyric-writing process, composition, and arrangement of the song together with Eden, his long-time collaborator. It was reported that Hyunsik wrote the track before enlisting in the military. In addition, BTOB 4U members Minhyuk and Peniel also took part in the writing.

Since the release of the mini-album "INSIDE," it topped on iTunes Top Albums charts all over the world, particularly in 13 regions including Macau, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and El Salvador.

"INSIDE" also reached the No. 1 spot on iTunes K-Pop Music Album charts in Japan, Australia, Ireland, and more. Meanwhile, the mini-album's lead single "Show Your Love" soars high on different Korean music charts: No. 2 on Bugs, No. 4 on Genie, and No. 9 on Melon. Other songs of the album also entered the charts, marking the successful debut of BTOB 4U.

BTOB 4U members are those who are currently active in the K-Pop industry. The sub-unit was created following the military discharge of Changsub and Minhyuk, who concluded their military service on Aug. 21 and Sept. 12, respectively. Because of the current COVID-19 protocol, the two BTOB members were discharged earlier than their original schedule.

Other BTOB members, Hyunsik, Sungjae, and Ilhoon, still serve as an active-duty soldier. In a recent showcase held for the mini-album "INSIDE," BTOB 4U members revealed how their three enlisted members reacted to their debut. They said that Hyunsik, Sungjae, and Ilhoon liked it, saying it was good and had BTOB's colors, yet it also reflects the sub unit's unique performance.

The unit also shared why they chose "Show Your Love" as the title track of "INSIDE." BTOB's Minhyuk explained that this is the first time members are promoting together after two years and that they received numerous songs of various styles, but they agreed on "Show Your Love."

Minhyuk said, "It shined on its own and wasn't special just because it was our member's song. We just thought that it was a great song that fits well with our difficult situation now."
