Solo Artist Natty Announces Official Fandom Name

Fans of the K-Pop singer have already been named.

Natty has revealed the official fan club name for her fans!

On Nov. 22, the solo artist had a V Live session to celebrate her 200 days since her debut on May 7. During her live stream, she announced that her fan club will be called "TwiNny." The name is actually the one given to the teddy bear that was featured in her latest comeback with her latest single titled "Teddy Bear."

Natty detailed that she chose the name "TwiNny" because it was someone who was her best friend and someone from whom she gains her strength.

The solo artist is currently promoting her most recent track, "Teddy Bear," performing the song in various television music shows. It was dropped on Nov. 12, along with its accompanying music video. The track goes with a cutesy and bright concept, which can be seen in the MV.

In addition, Natty's "Teddy Bear" marks her very first comeback in the K-Pop scene since her solo debut last May with the single "Nineteen." The latter song is a more classic pop-EDM track, while the latest release is playful and upbeat, showing a different side of the singer.

For those unfamiliar with the solo artist, Natty, also known as Anatchaya Suputhipong, is a Thai singer based in South Korea. She is best known to be a previous participant in the reality survival show "Sixteen," created by JYP Entertainment in 2015 to form a TWICE girl group. She competed against 15 other said label trainees to be included in the final lineup of the JYPE's next female act.

Natty was able to make it to the final round of the program. However, she failed to secure a spot in the company's new all-female band, so she continued to be a trainee under JYPE. She then joined another reality survival show, Mnet's "Idol School," in July 2017. She pitted against 40 other participants for the chance to debut as a member of a nine-member girl group, which is now called Fromis 9.

Once again, Natty reached the final round of the program, but then, she ranked 13th in the last episode, failing to be part of the debut group. The Thai singer then decided to part ways with JYP Entertainment and joined Swing Entertainment on Apr. 6.

Apart from Natty, the label currently manages solo artist Kim Jae Hwan, a former member of Wanna One, and IZ*ONE. It was a former home to project groups I.O.I, Wanna One, and X1. Natty is the second solo artist to beAfter a month, Natty made her debut as a solo artist with the single album titled "Nineteen." The music video of the song was also released on the same day. And as of Nov. 23, the MV has reached 7.7 million views. Meanwhile, the music video for "Teddy Bear" already hit 2.3 million views.
