GOT7's "BREATH" has entered USA iTunes Charts!

On Nov. 23, the JYP Entertainment boy group launched "BREATH" as a pre-release song of their new studio album titled "Breath of Love: Last Piece," which is set to be out on Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. KST. GOT7 dropped the track together with its music video that highlights each member.

Upon its release, the group's new song is receiving much love and support globally, particularly in the United States. On Nov. 23 EST, GOT7's "BREATH" landed on the "Top 10 Songs" of the U.S. iTunes chart, specifically at No. 7.

The single debuted at No. 6 on the "Top Pop Songs" of the said chart, becoming the group's first song to rank high on U.S. iTunes.

Because of this, GOT7's "BREATH" becomes the highest-charting track on iTunes by a JYP Entertainment's idol group for this year, as well as the highest-charting song by the agency's male act in history!

"BREATH" is one of the title tracks of GOT7's fourth full-length album "Breath of Love: Last Piece," the other one being titled "LAST PIECE." The song conveys the emotions felt during a fateful encounter that turns into love later on.

GOT7's Youngjae, under the producer name Ars, took part in the composition and lyrics writing for the single, alongside Joo Chan Yang, Lavin, and NiiHWA, who all participated in the previous tracks of the boy group.

Through "BREATH," Youngjae did not only show off the group's charm and combined synergy but also put a spotlight on each members' unique personalities. The idol also revealed that IGOT7 (or Ahgase, GOT7's official fandom) largely inspired the track as the fans are one of the reasons why he continues to sing.

Since Youngjae directly contributed to GOT7's "BREATH," fans expressed their appreciation for the song and GOT7 members, especially Youngjae. Many fans shared tweets about how happy they are to see the visible confidence of Youngjae. This is not to mention that the singer trended on Twitter just a few hours after the pre-release song was released.

In other news, GOT7 has continued the countdown for their upcoming studio album. JYP Entertainment released a teaser video for the second title track, "LAST PIECE" on Nov. 24 KST. The clip lasts for about 30 seconds, and it features GOT7's JB. The idol was sporting a printed suit as he gives a serious stare to the camera. It can be noticed that the setting is the same one in the music video for "BREATH" - the room with lots of paintings hanging on the wall, which can be seen in the beginning and at the end of the MV.

"LAST PIECE" is another special song in the album not only because it is the title track but because GOT7's JB was credited for co-composing and co-writing the lyrics of the single under his producer name DEFSOUL.
