Rookie Boy Group BAE173 to Gift Fans with a Special Music Video

BAE173 has something special for the fans!

On Nov. 24, media outlet reports state that the rookie group will be releasing a music video for "It's All You" on Nov. 29 at noon KST. The song is one of the tracks included in the band's debut album "INTERSECTION: SPARK." Such MV will be launched as the boy band would like to thank their fans for their full support on their debut last Nov. 19 of this year.

Joon Young Lim, the CEO of Brand Architects, has taken part in creating the music video for "It's All You." The company is known for commercializing domestic webtoons and global IP licensing contents such as Jurassic World and Minions.

BAE173 is a new K-Pop boy group signed under PocketDol Studio, a subsidiary agency of MBK Entertainment and Interpark. The band has nine members, namely Hangyul, Dohyon, Muzin, Junseo, Yoojun, Doha, Bit, Youngseo, and J-Min.

BAE173 is an acronym of the phrase "Before Anyone Else," plus the No. 1, which symbolizes perfection, and the lucky number 73. Additionally, the group name means that the boys dream of becoming the No. 1 boy band for fans.

Lee Hangyul and Nam Do Hyon are already familiar to fans as the two idols are former members of the project boy group X1 formed by CJ ENM through the reality competition show called "Produce X 101" in 2019. X1 made its debut in August of the same year with the song "Flash" under Swing Entertainment. The group then disbanded in January 2020 following the Mnet vote manipulation scandal.

In addition, before Hangyul and Dohyon joined BAE173, the two were promoting as the duo H&D. The duo launched the pre-release track "Unfamiliar" in March and officially debuted on Apr. 21 of this year with its first mini-album "Soulmate." The album contains 10 songs, including two title tracks: "SOUL" and "GOOD NIGHT." H&D released their final album, "Umbrella" on Sept. 23.

Meanwhile, BAE173 made its debut in the K-Pop industry on Nov. 19 with the mini-album "INTERSECTION: SPARK." The album is composed of five singles that are titled "Prelude: With Me," "Crush on You," "Fly," "I'll Never Say," and the fan song "It's All You."

"Crush on You" serves as the title track of BAE173's debut album. Producing team GALACTIKA was the one who composed and wrote the lyrics of the single. "Crush on You" is defined as an up-tempo R&B track that features new jack swing components. It tells about the boys who are still not yet familiar with the feeling of being in love and even assert that they don't believe in love. But then, the boys end up bumping into their soulmate, making them discover what love is.

The music video for "Crush on You" was dropped on Nov. 19 as well through the rookie group's official YouTube channel. As of Nov. 24 KST, the MV has 8.7 million views.
