TOMORROW x TOGETHER Members' COVID-19 Test Results Revealed

Big Hit Entertainment has disclosed the test results of TXT members for COVID-19.

On Nov. 25, Big Hit announced that the boy group had undergone testing for COVID-19 since TOMORROW x TOGETHER appeared as guests on EBS's children's show "Tok! Tok! Boni Hani" last Nov. 19. And on that program, it was confirmed that one of the staff members have come in close contact with a COVID-19 carrier. Hence, the band underwent voluntary testing to be prepared for all possible situations.

Then, on Thursday, Nov. 26, the entertainment agency gave follow-up information about the matter, announcing that all five TXT members and the whole staff all received negative test results for COVID-19. Considering this, Big Hit decided to resume all activities of the boy group starting today.

It has been a month since TOMORROW X TOGETHER made a comeback with their third extended play titled "Minisode1: Blue Hour," which was launched on Oct. 26. Within a month, the boy group achieved numerous accomplishments. In particular, upon the album release, it debuted at No. 25 on Billboard 200 chart in the United States, becoming TXT's highest-chart EP in the said country.

It was recently revealed that TXT's new album has stayed on Billboard 200 for two weeks in a row, thus proving that the band has established itself as a global artist. According to the most recent chart that Billboard unveiled on Nov. 24, TXT's mini-album "Minisode1: Blue Hour" ranked 112th on said music chart for the week ending Nov. 28. In the previous weeks, the EP was at No. 25 and landed on the top ranks.

This is the first time that TXT managed to remain on Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks since their debut. This outstanding performance of TOMORROW X TOGETHER is a new record for a K-Pop group, particularly among those who are in their second year of debut.

On top of that, "Minisode1: Blue Hour" has entered other Billboard charts; specifically, it ranked second in World Album, 11th in Tastemaker Albums, 22nd in Top Album Sales, and 13th in Top Current Album Sales. TXT's new album also ranked 4th in Social 50, from which it was at No. 12 last week.

While the album has been a success in the United States, it was also well-received in South Korea and Japan. It debuted at No. 3 on the Gaon Album Chart after selling more than 300,000 copies in only one week, setting a new personal record for first-week sales. It also topped the Oricon Albums Chart, both daily and weekly.

TXT's widespread popularity can also be determined as "Minisode1: Blue Hour" took the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Album chart in 30 countries around the world. In addition, the title track "Blue Hour" also placed first on the iTunes Top Song chart in 15 countries.

In other news, TXT has recently released the first original soundtrack for JTBC's teen-drama "Live On." Titled "Your Light," the OST was dropped on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
