[WATCH] P1HARMONY Bridges K-Pop Generations With Cover of CNBLUE's 'Then, Now and Forever'

Newly-debuted K-pop boy band P1HARMONY showcases its raw vocal and rap prowess with a heartwarming cover of CNBlue's latest hit, "Then, Now and Forever."

CNBLUE is P1HARMONY's senior group under the same talent agency, FNC Entertainment. While only four out of the six-piece group performed the cover, it was more than enough the bring justice to CNBLUE's highly-anticipated comeback.

Keeho, Theo, Jiung, and Intak are shown seated across a soft pinkish background and effortlessly moved from singing the verses to belting the higher notes as in the original "Then, Now and Forever." The 1:53 cover left fans wanting for more, with one commenter writing: "I want them to cover a lot of songs! Their talent [needs] to be recognized by more people!" Another said that FNC's newest boy group is "not a rookie material at all."

In a statement, FNC Entertainment said that P1Harmony continues the "exceptional musical legacy" set by its roster of successful groups: CNBLUE, FT ISLAND, AOA, N.FLYING, SF9, and CHERRY BULLET.

The CNBLUE cover is the latest move to showcase the talent of this quickly rising act. P1HARMONY has been described by the South China Morning Post as a "new breed of the boy band" and Seoulbeats as having "a bright future."

P1HARMONY: The Newest (And Probably Baddest) Boy Group In Town

P1HARMONY, or P1H for short, is made up of members Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jeongseob. Prior to their debut, the members showcased their acting skills in a movie titled "P1H: A New World Begins." The 99-minute film, directed by Director Chang, takes place in an apocalyptic future which parallels the origins of the boy group - shown in the film as six boys spread across the land who must come together to fight against the virus that has plagued this near-future Earth.

Released on October 8, "P1H: A New World Begins" included three singles performed by P1HARMONY ahead of their official debut single. The Jakarta Post reported that this "is the first time that a universe of a K-pop group has been made into a full movie."

The FNC Entertainment's latest boy group officially debuted on October 28, 2020 with their first mini-album "DISHARMONY: STAND OUT." It was accompanied by the release of their debut single, "SIREN." As of this writing, its official music video on YouTube has already surpassed 11 million views. "SIREN" was co-written by P1H members Intak and Jongseob, accompanied by an electric music video demonstrating the boys' energy and synchronization.
