2PM Jun. K Drops Teaser Images for Third Mini-Album '20 Minutes'

2PM's Jun. K has shared the first set of teaser images for his upcoming mini-album titled "20 mins" (20 minutes).

Previously, JYP Entertainment announced that Jun. K will be making a solo comeback with his third mini-album, set to be released on Dec. 9 at 6:00 p.m. KST. The news was unveiled through a photo showing an X-ray of two hands holding each other tightly, one with a watch that is set to 1:40 p.m. The label stated that the picture is about a couple with a lot of memories.

On Nov. 30, three teaser pics were uploaded sequentially. The first pic displays Jun. K is leaning on a wall as he looks on one side, while the second image shows the singer's back view as he lays his eyes on the city's night lights. Meanwhile, the third one presents a blurry shot of the idol in yellow-green.

Jun. K shared that the album tells about the heartbreak after a breakup and conveys a comforting message that will be delivered within 20 minutes, which is the album's total length.

Although the artist launched a digital single last June, titled "This Is Not A Song, 1929," his upcoming mini-album "20 minutes" will mark his first new physical album in 11 months since his military discharge this past January. In addition, it will mark Jun. K's first solo comeback after more than three years since his second mini-album, "My 20's" back in November 2017.

Jun. K is known for writing and composing "My House"- the title track in 2PM's fifth full-length album "No. 5" released in June 2015. The song went viral earlier this year, particularly its music video that has gained more views and has seen an increase in comments. It turned out that fans have missed seeing 2PM perform the song. HOTTEST (2PM's official fan club) even searched for old fan-taken videos of the boy group delivering the track.

To celebrate the sudden attention being garnered by the MV for "My House," JYP Entertainment shared a special video of 2PM singing the song at "House Party," which was a concert held by the members before their military enlistments.

Kim Min Jun, typically known by his stage name Jun. K, is a singer, rapper, dancer, songwriter, record producer, and actor in South Korea. He debuted as the main vocalist of the all-male group 2PM under JYP Entertainment in September 2008 with the single "10 Out of 10."

The band is currently on hiatus as members Junho and Chansung are still serving in the military. Meanwhile, Jun. K has concluded his military service last January 2 - he is the second 2PM member to do so, following Taecyeon.

Considering the group's hiatus, Jun. K is carrying out his solo activities. As previously mentioned, he released the track "This Is Not A Song, 1929" this past June. While it was the idol's fourth Korean single, it was also his first Japanese digital single. On the same day of its release, the singer held a free online concert, "THIS IS NOT A SPECIAL LIVE," as his way to express his gratitude for fans' continued support.
