Super Junior and BTS are Both Candidates for TMA's 'Inkisang' + Expectation for Winner Rises

The nominees for TMA's "Inkisang" are both icons of the K-pop industry!

As of Monday, Nov. 30, expectations between Super Junior and BTS rose higher, as the race for the top spot of the online voting for TMA's "Popularity Award (Inkisang)" is nearing its end.

The on-going online voting for 2020's " The Fact Music Awards" or "TMA" has started on Nov. 16, and it becomes more intense as fans and supporters of their favorite K-pop artists entered the second round of the online voting.

Super Junior Vs. BTS: Who Will Win?

There is only a week remaining until the closing of the online voting for TMA, but the expectations for the winner of the said award ceremony is still uncertain. As of Thursday, Nov. 26, Super Junior has been reigning for No. 1 followed by BTS at 2nd place.

It is indeed a fierce battle as there is only a margin of two percent, and it might change according to Korean media and music fans, given the huge fandom that both K-pop groups have.

Super Junior, the "K-pop Titan" and "Hallyu King" of the music industry, has been in the industry for 15 years, establishing a huge and stable fandom E.L.F since 2005.

Meanwhile, BTS, the most popular boy band and is also referred to as the "Princes of Pop" of the new generation fans and media, has an overwhelming number of supporters as well called ARMYs, and their massive popularity worldwide is no joke, too.

Media and fans are curious if BTS will win the award again as it is currently the titleholder of TMA's "Popularity Award" for two consecutive years since 2018. In addition to this, people are also curious if the award will be given to its new titleholder, who will be Super Junior, if ever they will win the online voting.

Meanwhile, unlike the "Fan & Star" category, where voting rights are paid differently according to grades, the "TMA Popularity Award" gives everyone equal voting rights every day. Accordingly, it is expected that fans' active participation in voting will decide the final winner until the last day.

Along with the "Popularity Awards," the two groups are also battling for the " Fan & Star Choice Award" for the singer category.
