BTS's 'Dynamite' Outfits Up For Sale at a Charity Auction

BTS has placed their pastel outfits from the "Dynamite" music video for sale at a charity auction for the first time!

On Nov. 30, it was revealed that the world-renowned K-Pop boy band had donated the attires from the music video of their hit song "Dynamite." The outfits will be sold at a charity auction in Beverly Hills, California, particularly Julien's Auctions, in January next year. The blue, yellow, pink, and lavender pastel outfits of the Bangtan Boys will be taken home by the highest bidder.

The outfits include the pastel T-shirts, pants, hats, and sneakers the BTS members wore in the "Dynamite" MV this past August. According to Martin Nolan, the executive director of the said charity auction, this is the first time that BTS has put their attires up for sale. He also revealed that the clothes' prices start from $20,000 to $40,000.

Proceeds from the charity auction will be donated to MusiCares, a charity program being of the Recording Academy, also known as the organizers of the GRAMMY Awards.

In December 2019, a set of BTS's used microphones were also sold at Julien's Auctions. Each mic had an autograph of each member and was used by the boy group from 2017 to 2019, including when BTS held its "Love Yourself" world tour. The auction for the set of mics began with an opening bid of $5,000 and ascended to approximately $50,000 a week before the bidding closed. In the end, BTS's microphones were sold at a total of 83,200 USD.

The funds earned from the auction were also donated to the Recording Academy's MusiCares. The charity program has already provided over 60 million USD to musicians in times of need, particularly in financial, health, and rehabilitation resources.
