Some Overseas Ahgases Reveal How They Got Fluent in Korean + GOT7 Comeback Success

The foreign fandom of K-pop group GOT7 draws attention among fans and Korean media for being fluent in Korean!

On Dec. 1, Korean media, SBS, wrote an article about the famous band's fandom, highlighting the reason why some of Ahgases (GOT7 fandom) are incredibly good with their idol's native language.

In particular, the popular boy band GOT7 recently made a comeback with their fourth full-length album. Thus, on various online Korean communities, the K-pop group's fans and supporters expressed their love and congratulatory messages for the group and the members.

How did foreign Ahgases learn Korean?

At that time, some Koreans noticed how fluent overseas fans understand Hangul ( Korean handwriting), and they are indeed amazed how foreign Ahgases are familiar with the slang words used by natives, but correctly digested Korean spacing as well!

When a Korean fan then asked, "Why are you so good at Korean when you're an overseas fan?" The international fans revealed their honest reasons. Some of the fans unveiled that since JYP Entertainment doesn't include English subtitles in media releases, they had no choice but to learn Korean.

A Russian fan also said that there are no subtitles or proper translations; thus, they learned the language not only for themselves but also for their co-fans. A fan also thanked JYP Entertainment and GOT7 that he could enter one of the prestigious universities in Korea and learned to speak three languages due to them!

GOT7 Come Back with" Breath of Love: Last Piece"

Meanwhile, GOT7 made a comeback with their fourth full-length album, "Breath of Love: Last Piece," on Monday, Nov. 30, which contained all the members' self-written songs. After release, it made favorable responses as it achieved high rankings on various charts. GOT7 topped the iTunes album chart in the U.S. and secured the top spot in the Gaon Chart's retail album as well. Their title track, "LAST PIECE," truly dominated domestic and foreign music sites at the same time, as it climbed to No. 1 on Genie Music's real-time chart.

Also, the music video, which was simultaneously unveiled on the same day as the album release, is drawing enthusiastic responses due to the eye-catching members' colorful solo dances and screen switching techniques that naturally intersect various scenes.

Another title track, "Breath," pre-released on November 23 as part of the promotion, was praised for Youngjae's lyrics and compositions to preserve GOT7's refreshing charm properly.

Before their comeback, GOT7 also hosted a live Twitter Blue room and conveyed their messages to fans, saying, "The satisfaction level is high because it is a 'real album' that contains GOT7's sincerity. It's also a piece where we can see our growth, so please show us a lot of interest and love."

JB, who made the song, put a romantic message in the song, "Only when we have the last piece of you will we be completed."
