CRAVITY emerged as the Rookie of the Year at the recently-concluded Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2020, held last December 5.

Prior to the MMA 2020 awarding ceremony, CRAVITY showcased a special performance on December 4 as a part of the MMA Week. The nine-member group under Starship Entertainment unveiled a unique stage, tailored specifically for their number. The set even included classy props like golden chandeliers and a giant antique watch. The backdrop perfectly complimented the members of CRAVITY, who went out in black suit ensembles. Members Serim and Allen kicked off the performance with an energetic and synchronized routine before the rest of the members joined them in "Break All The Rules," the group's hit debut single released last April 2020.

The transitions between the group's performance and different still shots made their MMA 2020 special stage a black suit version of the music video for their single. Additionally, their visibly solid teamwork created one of the most memorable performances in this year's MMA.

Fans are also in for a treat as after the "Break All The Rules" performance, MMA 2020 featured a short documentary-style video showing the members' impressive visuals accompanied by an English-language narration.

After accepting their Rookie of the Year award from the MMA 2020, CRAVITY released a statement through their agency Starship Entertainment. "We are really happy just to be able to participate in such a big awards ceremony with our respected seniors. We feel like flying because we won the Rookie of the Year award."

"Most of all, we want to say thank you and we love you to our fan club, LUVITY, who are giving us so much love," CRAVITY added.

The group's MMA 2020 Win is the latest testament to CRAVITY emerging as a Super Rookie group. Since they debuted earlier this year, they have already received the Male Potential Artist Award from the Asia Artist Awards (AAA), Idol Pick Super Rookie from Dong-A Pick Awards, and the Best of Next in the recent Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

Meanwhile, Cravity (Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyungjun, Taeyoung, and Sungmin) will be showing special performances at various year-end awards ceremonies following MMA 2020 and will again impress music fans.
