Annually, Billboards drops their "The 25 Best Music Videos" list. This year was a little different, as music videos became a highlight of 2020 since people were forced to stay at home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Some music videos this year could take us to a different place, time, and atmosphere. Other music videos acted as a distraction to the chaos happening in the real world. Billboard selected the music videos that made this year more bearable.

BLACKPINK ranked at number 20 for "How You Like That." Surprisingly, Billboard did not choose the official music video for the song. Instead, they chose the dance performance video!

Billboard commented that most K-pop music labels are extremely high-budget, or in Billboard's words, "akin to a small nation's GDP". BLACKPINK is mostly known for their eye-catching visuals, props, and settings. Their dance performance videos, however, are usually much more stripped-down, as it is meant to focus on the choreography.

Despite the simplicity of the dance performance video, BLACKPINK's video is still amazing, and it is still extremely watchable. Though it was released back in June, fans can keep going back to the video and not get bored. Additionally, Billboard also commented on how meme-able the video is!

"How You Like That" was released on June 26 as a pre-release to BLACKPINK's first full-length studio album "THE ALBUM." The song's lyrics talk about not being hindered by difficult situations and not losing one's confidence and finding the strength to stand up and persevere again. Member Jisoo has stated that while their other songs have focused on being powerful, this song focuses on more of their swag. "How You Like That" is a mix of pop, hip-hop, and trap.

"How You Like That" was awarded "Song of the Summer" at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). It also most recently won the "Best Dance Award - Female" at the 2020 Melon Music Awards (MMAs) and the "Best Dance Performance - Female Group" at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMAs). "How You Like That" won thirteen music awards; three from "Inkigayo", three from "Show Champion," two from "M! Countdown," two for "Music Bank," and three from "Show! Music Core."
