Mark your calendars - VIXX's Hyuk will be greeting fans around the world before the year ends through an online solo concert "2020 Hyuk Live Today."

On Dec. 9, the event was announced through a concert poster uploaded to VIXX's official social media accounts. In the image, the red flowers seem to be blooming in a black night sky. Also, the photo reveals that Hyuk's upcoming solo concert will be called "2020 Hyuk Live Today" and will be held on Sunday, Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. KST.

The online event will be VIXX's Hyuk's first solo concert in a year since his "2019 Hyuk Live Today" last Dec. 29. It is said that the idol with warm the cold winter through spectacular stages. It is expected to be a special gift-like performance for fans at the end of the year.

Since his debut as a member of Jelly Fish Entertainment's boy group VIXX in 2012, Hyuk has been showcasing his musical capabilities by participating in numerous songs, particularly in the lyric-writing process and composition. He was credited as a co-lyricist for the single "Milky Way," which is the title track of VIXX's second special album called "VIXX 2016 Conception Ker."

His very first self-composed song is titled "Hug," which is a gift for fans for Lunar New Year in 2017. The following year, VIXX's Hyuk again took part in writing the lyrics and composing "Good Day," which is included in the boy band's third studio album "Eau de VIXX." He also composed "Trigger" and "Navy & Shining Gold," some of the other songs in the album.

Other than that, he was one of the writers and composer of "The Rain," one of the 10 songs from VIXX's third Japanese album "Reincarnation."

In January 2019, VIXX's Hyuk made his solo debut with the single "Boy with a Star," which he wrote and composed. In December of that same year, the idol released his very first solo mini-album, "Winter Butterfly" featuring the title track of the same name. The song is a ballad with a warm melody and conveys a message that provides comfort during difficult times.

Apart from his singing career, Hyuk has also established himself as an actor. He made his acting debut through the comedy-action film "Chasing," in which he played one of the main characters. It was released in theaters in January 2016. He was cast in multiple web dramas in the following years.

This past March, he was confirmed to star as the male lead of a new romance drama "Ga Doo Ri's Sushi Restaurant." He took on the role of Cha Woo Bin, a handsome next-door neighbor who enjoys doing things his way without taking notice of how other people view him as a person. In the drama, Lee Joo Bin plays Ga Doo Ri, who is the partner of Cha Woo Bin. The show premiered in June through July, with a total of 12 episodes.

Meanwhile, VIXX's Hyuk's year-end online solo concert "2020 Hyuk Live Today" will be broadcast live around the world through online platforms and additional services at 9 p.m. KST on Dec. 27.
