TVXQ will be holding a special online fan meeting in celebration of their 17th anniversary of debut!

Titled "2020 TVXQ! Online Fan Meeting: Indoor Stories in the Winter with Cassiopeia," the upcoming event will take place on Dec. 26 at 5 p.m. KST through Naver V Live's Beyond Live channel.

For the quirky title of TVXQ's online fan meeting, the boy group used the Chinese characters "冬" (winter) and "房" (room), together with the shortened form of the Korean word "Shin-Ki" that means "exciting and happy stories." Fans can anticipate both solo and group performances during the broadcast. There will also be talk segments, games, and many more!

Fans from all around the world can watch the online fan meeting for a fee. Tickets are available on Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. KST via V Live+.

Tong Vfang Xien Qi, for short TVXQ, is currently a pop duo under SM Entertainment. The duo consists of Jung Yunho, better known as U-Know Yunho, and Max Changmin. They are also known as Tohoshinki in Japanese releases, or DBSK, an abbreviation of the members' Korean names Dong Bang Shin Ki.

Formed in 2003, TVXQ initially comprises five members. In addition to U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, the other three members are Micky Yoochun, Hero Jaejoong, and Xiah Junsu. The boy band made its debut with the launch its very first single "Hug" in January and its first studio album "Tri-Angle" in October, both were in 2004.

TVXQ also debuted in Japan with the Japanese single "Stay with Me Tonight" in April 2005. The track claimed the No. 37 spot on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. In that same year, the group released its second Korean studio album "Rising Sun," which became their first breakthrough album as it debuted at No. 1 on the Korean charts.

Both "Tri-Angle" and "Rising Sun" were TVXQ's top sellers, which made them popular beyond Korea. The group's international prominence took place in the late 2000s, after being more recognized for their best-selling albums "'O'-Jung.Ban.Hap." (2006) and Mirotic (2008), which both earned TVXQ the "Album of the Year" award in the Golden Disc Awards for the respective years.

Despite their commercial success, TVXQ members Yoochun, Jaejoong, and Junsu decided to part ways with their entertainment agency SM Entertainment in 2010, claiming that their thirteen-year contract was too long and profits were unevenly distributed. Prior to their departure, the trio became TVXQ's special unit called JYJ.

Meanwhile, Yunho and Changmin continued to be a duo but still under the name TVXQ. Their first release as a duo is the Korean album "Keep Your Head Down" in January 2011. With this album, Yunho and Changmin received the "Album of the Year" at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. Their most recent release is their tenth Japanese album "XV" to commemorate their fifth debut anniversary in Japan last October 2019.

This past May, TVXQ held a live online concert, which is the fifth concert conducted by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Naver. The event was broadcast live via the online live concert streaming service, Beyond Live.
