‘Miss Trot 2’ Contestant Goes Viral for Looking Like IZ*ONE’s Jang Wonyoung

On Thursday, Dec. 17 airing of TV Chosun's "Miss Trot 2," Lim Seo Won, an elementary school student, performed "Older Brother." She is currently one of the show's youngest contestants. During her audition, she charmed everyone with her adorable energy and visuals.
Wearing a cute bandana and a bright yellow t-shirt and blue pants, Lim Seo Won drew attention the moment she hit the stage. Not only did the elementary school girl charm people with her vocals, but she also made sure to brighten the stage with her sharp and cute dancing. From beginning to end, Lim Seo Won showed off her amazing dance lines and gentle voice, with abilities that surpass her age.
She also charmed people with her expressions, even knowing how to wink at the camera! Her performance caused the hearts of all the uncles and aunties that were watching to flutter.
Shortly after the broadcast was aired, numerous users took to various online community forums to talk about Lim Seo Won. Many people posted that they were looking forward to more of the up and coming trot star, saying that she resembled IZ*ONE's visual and center member, Jang Wonyoung.
Lim Seo Won's bright and doe-like eyes and fruity smile is highly reminiscent of Jang Wonyoung. On top of that, it appears the two have similar face shapes, noses, and eyebrow structures. Additionally, Lim Seo Won is proving that she is an expert at expressions on stage, just like Wonyoung is! Both singers have charmed the audiences with the wink and captivate the stage whenever they perform.
During the episode, Lim Seo Won was on the verge of elimination because she failed to receive all the hearts from the panel However, she was ultimately selected as an additional candidate and has advanced to the next round of the competition.

The group Jang Wonyoung is in, IZ*ONE, recently made their comeback with their fourth extended play, "One-reeler / ACT IV". The title track from the extended play is titled "Panorama". The group is rumored to disband in April 2021, and it is speculated that this comeback will be their last. It is currently unconfirmed if this will be their last comeback, or if they will have a chance at a comeback in early 2021.

Prior to their South Korean comeback, the girl group released their first Japanese studio album titled "Twelve". Back on Aug. 6, Stone Music Entertainment announced the girl group would hold their first online solo concert. On Sept. 13, they held their first online concert titled "Oneiric Theater", which is also the title of IZ*ONE's third extended play, which was released on June 15.
