Lee Hyori, Jessi, and WINNER Mino Selected as 'Best Entertainers of the Year'

For this year, SSAK3 members Jae Suk and Lee Hyori were selected as " Entertainers of the Year" by experts. In addition to this, singer Jessi and Song Min Ho were selected as "new entertainers that the entertainment industry paid attention to this year" as well.
In particular, the Korean media outlet News1 conducted a survey among 23 entertainment experts, which include the current broadcasting producers and production company officials, on programs, stars, and trends that have shone in the entertainment industry this year to determine the winners of the titles.
Best Male and Female Entertainers of the Year
In this year's best male entertainer category selected by entertainment experts, Yoo Jae Suk reigned in the list with an amazing 16 votes.
This year, he successfully launched two project groups that heated up the music scene, including SSAK3 and Refund Expedition through his show, "Hangout with Yoo."
Despite the pandemic, Yoo also sustained the success of tvN's "You Quiz on the Block."
Respondents praised and called him, "entertainment emperor," "unnecessarily unrivaled," "No. 1 in name and reality," "the steady popularity of "Running Man," "the star of the entertainment industry" and "the best of the best" and "the best of the world since their debut.
Meanwhile, for the best female entertainer category, Lee Hyori won first place with nine votes.
The OG "Nation's Fairy" truly became active in the industry this 2020, who is a first-gen idol but debuted on new project groups, SSAK3 and Refund Expedition.
The success of their released songs, "Beach Again," and "Don't touch me," respectively proved her undying influence and power as they received immense support that made them top domestic charts.
The professionals who voted for her commented on her power to make a hit, that whatever she's doing, "It's a sure box office hit." Also, others applauded her ability to call viewership, with her influential image.
"Best New Entertainers" Who Have Been Noticed by the Entertainment Industry
Jessi, who is also a member of Refund Expedition received three votes, ranking No. 1 along with trot singer Lim Young Woong and professional athlete Park Se Ri.
Song Min Ho, a member of the K-pop group WINNER, who receive favorable responses with his appearance in variety shows such as "New Journey to the West," and "Kang's Kitchen" was also acknowledged by a broadcasting expert.
Lastly, Jimmy Yoo and Linda G, the screen names used by Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Hyori for Refund Expedition and SSAK3, respectively, were also chosen by experts as new entertainers who showed the best results this year.
On the other hand, some experts who responded to the survey came from prominent channels including SBS, KBS, MBC, tvN, Kakao TV, JTBC, SMC & C, and many more.
