Kang Daniel Retained as Givenchy Beauty's Endorser after Remarkable Campaign Feats

Kang Daniel remains the face of Givenchy Beauty after the luxury brand extended his contract as its official endorser on Monday, Dec. 28.

Reports have it that Givenchy Beauty decided to let Kang Daniel continue to represent the brand because of the "Who U Are" singer's remarkable influence and effect of his involvement in its promotions and campaigns. Moreover, the K-pop singer and CEO is very effective in bearing the message the company has been trying to convey to its avid fans.

A brand representative stated that Givenchy Beauty looks forward to Kang Daniel exuding the synergy effect he has been emanating since he became the face of the brand. The brand is also asking for the support of the "TOUCHIN'" hitmaker as he would be involved in various engagements and events relative to the brand in 2021.

For starters, 2021 would be the third year for Kang Daniel as the official face of Givenchy Beauty. The singer and French luxury fashion and perfume house have been working together since 2019. Among the brand's most successful campaign is the Teint Couture Cushion, which became a bestselling beauty product in 2020. Most fans credited the feat to Kang Daniel.

Earlier this month, APAN Awards 2020 announced that Kang Daniel is part of its Top 10 Artists this year. Aside from the "Jealous" singer, other K-pop acts who made it to the list include BTS, TWICE, NCT 127, GOT7, Lim Young Woong, SEVENTEEN, IZ*ONE, MONSTA X, and The Boyz.

Kang Daniel was even awarded as the Best Male Solo and Best Global Male Solo in 2020 at the time. Other winners were IU as Best Female Solo, BTS as Best Male Group, IZ*ONE as Best Female Group, MAMAMOO member Hwasa as Best Global Female Solo, SEVENTEEN as Best Global Male Group, and BLACKPINK as Best Global Female Group.

Kim Soo Hyun got the Best Actor Award for "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," Seo Ye Ji received the Best Actress Award for "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," Park Ji Hoon was named Best Male Entertainer, LOONA member Chuu won the Best Female Entertainer award, and BTS member V got the Best OST award for singing "Sweet High" for "Itaewon Class." Son Ye Jin was named KT Seezn Star Award for Actor category while Kang Daniel was named the KT Seezn Award for Singer winner.

For starters, Kang Daniel became a household name after he finished on the top in the reality competition series called "Produce 101." He was also a former member of Wanna One, which achieved numerous feats since they were launched.

The "Refresh" singer took a temporary hiatus after he announced his departure from Wanna One. Then, in 2019, Kang Daniel launched his own talent agency to manage his own career. He then released his first-ever album as a solo performer called "Color On Me" and dominated music charts after that. His tracks "Magenta" and "Cyan" even ranked in the Gaon Album Chart, with the latter earning the singer-songwriter his first Top 10 single in South Korea.
