MONSTA X Thanks Their MONBEBEs for the Golden Disc Best Group Award
MONSTA X asserted its dominance as one of the best groups around with its Golden Disc Awards performance where they won an award, crediting their win to their loyal fans - MONBEBEs.
The 35th Golden Disc Awards was held last January 9 to 10, and MONSTA X was among the winners - receiving the Best Group Award. After receiving their recognition, Shownu said on behalf of the group: "I am grateful to the fans who support MONSTA X and the hard-working members." The MONSTA X member added, "As we received a big award, we will try our best to become a group worthy of the name."
"I remember performing in front of the fans and saying how I felt. I think this award is something that MONBEBE (fandom name) should receive for making us the best group," Jooheon added. IM also agreed with his groupmates and expressed gratitude to their global fans in English.

In their Golden Disc Awards stage, MONSTA X was shown seated in separate frames with water as they began singing "Nobody Else," Hyungwon's self-composed song. Their unique "Water Show" added a new level of appeal while highlighting the members' harmony in performing. Fans of both the Golden Disc Awards and MONSTA X would remember a similar water-themed performance back in the 33rd awards show. Their 2019 stage performance concluded with an iconic dance number on a watered dance floor.
MONSTA X then moved to their next performance, "Love Killa," their hit comeback from their third studio album "Fatal Love." Hyungwon opens the number, seated in a classy chair and sporting an equally stylish red ensemble. The rest of the members appear, treating fans worldwide to the dance steps that helped cement "Love Killa" as among 2020's top K-Pop hits.
The group's members - Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M - capped their Golden Disc Awards stage with a performance of "Middle of the Night," from the group's Valentine's Day release, "All About Luv."
