BLACKPINK Jennie amazed fans as she flaunted her incredible vocals through her song cover of Mandy Moore's "When Will My Life Begin?" posted on her own YouTube Channel!

On Jan. 16, the female star and BLACKPINK's main rapper celebrated her birthday. And amid the warm heartfelt greetings she received from bandmates and BLINKs, she reciprocated them through a special gift by opening her own YouTube channel!

In her account, the female idol also posted a video, containing her introduction and a song cover.

Earlier, a video titled "Hello world. From Jennie" was posted on a YouTube channel named "Jennierubyjane Official," instantly garnering attention from fans.

To their surprise, the main character of this video is Jennie from BLACKPINK, who is, upon realization, also confirmed as the owner of the channel.

In the video, Jennie welcomed the viewers and delivered a brief introduction about her new account. She said, "I finally opened a YouTube channel to celebrate my birthday. I want to share my daily life and fun things."

The video then continues with Jennie showing her daily look. The idol highlighted her simple yet attractive outfit, wearing a top with a floral design and wide leg jeans.

Jennie also showed her vintage flower necklace that complements her top, and it was gifted to her by Maeng, the quartet's makeup artist.

In addition to this, she said, "I will upload my first YouTube on January 16, my birthday, and I will also give you a cover video as a gift to celebrate its opening."

In the video featuring herself and her fur-babies, Jennie showcased a cute and vibrant mood as she revealed her daily activities, such as cooking, cleaning, playing instruments, doing laundry, etc.

Her lovely voice didn't just capture fans' hearts, but also her genuine smile and laughter that can be seen throughout the video.

Lastly, she ended the video by saying, "I hope you guys enjoyed the video I prepared for you today. I'll try to make better videos for you guys from now on!"

She also thanked BLINKs for wishing her a great birthday, and hoped they will subscribe to her channel.

Meanwhile, fans are curious if the other members Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa will also appear on her YouTube channel.

BLACKPINK Jennie's "SOLO" Surpassed 600M Views on YouTube

Ahead of Jennie's birthday, BLINKs gifted the woman of the hour a new milestone: her music video for "SOLO" hit 600 million views on YouTube! And this is actually just the tip of the iceberg as this notable achievement made the idol break her own YouTube record as the Korean female solo artist with the most viewed MV!

According to YG Entertainment on Jan. 15, Jennie's "SOLO" music video attained the at 5:19 a.m. on the same day. The 25-year-old star debuted as a solo artist in November 2018 and gained more anticipation for her solo activities since then, aside from her releases with BLACKPINK.

BLACKPINK, comprising of members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, will have their first live stream concert, titled "YG PALM STAGE - 2021 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW" on January 31.

This is the first concert to be held since the release of BLACKPINK's first full-length album "THE ALBUM," and it is highly-awaited and set fans in excitement about the kind of stage BLACKPINK will show.
