Jessica Jung to Open First 'Blanc & Éclare' Flagship Store in Seoul

Jessica Jung is set to open the very first flagship store of her luxury fashion brand "Blanc & Eclare" in Seoul!

Blanc & Eclare is a luxury fashion brand established by Jessica Jung, who doesn't only act as the founder but also as a creative director, who aims to continuously expand its scale not only in the United States, where it was first launched. As of today, "Blanc & Eclare" merchandise is being sold in approximately sixty stores in several locations all over the world, including New York, Vancouver, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, Taiwan, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Bangkok.

The first US flagship store is set in the SoHo neighborhood of New York. The establishment has since closed as of August 2019 and reopened in the spring of 2020. And now, another flagship is set to be open.

On Tuesday, Jan. 19, My Daily reported that Jessica Jung will officially open the first-ever flagship store of her "Blanc & éclair" in Seoul on Jan. 20. In particular, the store is located in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, which is known as an upmarket shopping area, with the main shopping street dubbed "Cheongdam Fashion Street."

In a previous interview, Jessica Jung stated that she sees her luxury fashion brand as herself. She said that as she grows, the brand's style also improves since she learns the aspects that she has to take note of one by one to produce high-quality products. Together with the opening of the flagship store of "Blanc & Eclare" in Seoul, Jessica Jung will launch a restaurant named "CLAREAU" on the upper floor of the same building of the luxury fashion brand. This indicates that the singer has once again challenged herself, and this time it is about entering the world of the restaurant business.

Blanc & Eclare is a luxury fashion brand that produces clothing, denim, eyewear, skincare, and accessories. Founded in August 2014, the company was initially called "Blanc," which means "clean and crisp." It was later added with the term "Eclare," which was derived from the Latin word "clara" that represents "clarity and brightness." Jessica Jung revealed that she started her business with the release of sunglasses. And since then, she has launched various fashion items and is still extending her collection.

Just two months after it was built, "Blanc & Eclare" started to work with the charity "Help For Children," which an organization that aims to avoid and treat child abuse. The fashion company conducted a design competition in which participants made their own pair of sunglasses, with the winning designs being added to the "Blanc & Eclare" collection. And, 100% of the gain from their sales went to charity.

The latest release of Jessica's luxury fashion brand is the six limited-edition lipsticks in partnership with beauty brand, Revlon. In December 2020, Dispatch reported that American singer has set a record of 20 billion KRW (18 million USD) in the annual sales of "Blanc & Eclare" in 2019.
