BLACKPINK Jennie Gets Instant 2.8 Million Views on YouTube + Idol's Official Soju Commercial Released

Many fans expect BLACKPINK member Jennie to stay away from the spotlight for some time as the focus now is on Rosé, who would have her solo debut in March. However, on Wednesday, Feb. 10, the "Solo" singer shocked fans when she uploaded a new video on her official YouTube channel.

BLACKPINK Member Jennie Uploads New Video on YouTube

Devoted supporters of Jennie were surprised when she added a new clip on her official YouTube channel. Titled "'THE SHOW' vlog,'" the clip featured the BLACKPINK member rehearsing for their live stream concert.

Some parts of the video even featured Jennie having fun with other BLACKPINK members. She was seen hugging Jisoo while the latter was lying down on a bed. The "Lovesick Girls" singer was also spotted talking with Rosé as they watch something on the laptop.

The latest video of Jennie on her YouTube channel already got more than 2.8 million views a few hours after it was upload. It also amassed more than 930,000 likes and 83,000 comments.

To recall, BLACKPINK member Jennie launched her very own YouTube channel during her 25th birthday. At the time, the "Ice Cream" singer uploaded a clip of her showing what she does during a normal day of her life.

Titled "Hello world. From Jennie," the clip also featured the co-member of Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé talking about her outfit before she did a cover of "When Will My Life Begin" by Mandy Moore, which was originally used in the Disney movie called "Tangled." As her version plays in the background, the "BOOMBAYAH" hitmaker went through her chores, painted, played guitar and spent time with her pets.

At the moment, the "Hello world. From Jennie" video already got more than 25.9 million views, 2.9 million likes and 351,994 comments. The YouTube channel of BLACKPINK member Jennie has 5.27 subscribers already.

Chum-Churum Soju Releases BLACKPINK Jennie's First Advertisement

Meanwhile, Lotte Chilsung released the first advertisement of BLACKPINK member Jennie for the Chum-Churum Soju. The clip, which was uploaded on the official Instagram account of First Soju, started with an imagery of a lush mountain and pure liquid that features the refreshed version of the brand.

Fans noticed that Lotte Chilsung redesigned the beverage's bottle with a motif of water flowing through the mountain's foot. It was even reported that the company decided to lower the alcohol content of Chum-Churum from 16.9 percent to 16.5 percent, which is a first for the brand.

Being the new face of Chum-Churum Soju is an addition to the already long list of endorsements of the BLACKPINK member. Most, if not all, fans have been naming Jennie as the "human Chanel" as she is often seen sporting ensembles made and released by the luxury fashion brand. Her fondness with the brand landed her a huge deal with Chanel, which made her its official ambassador.

BLACKPINK member Jennie replaced Suzy Bae as the endorser of Chum-Churum Soju. Other personalities who became the brand's ambassador in the past include Lee Hyori, Goo Hara, HyunA, and Hyolyn.
