On the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 16, Shin Seung Ho partook in an online interview concerning the upcoming film "Double Patty." During the filming, he revealed that he and Irene were the first people to watch the film, commenting that the experience was new for the idol as it was her first time in a film.
Shin Seung Ho Comments on Working with Red Velvet's Irene
During the interview, the actor was asked what it was like working with Red Velvet's leader Irene. He revealed that he and Irene both spoke in length about the shoot, making sure to practice and prepare well for each filming. He went on to say that they were able to film all of the scenes well because they discussed how the scene would pan out and discussed how it would look like rather than preparing or the roles by themselves.
When it came to their on-camera chemistry, both Shin Seung Ho and Irene spoke in length about it at the filming site before shooting their scenes. Because of how much they prepared and practiced with each other, Shin Seung Ho believes they showed good chemistry onscreen.

Red Velvet Irene's First Public Appearance Since Attitude Controversy
Irene attended her first public appearance on Wednesday, Feb. 10, attending the press conference and movie premiere for "Double Patty" at the Lotte Cinema Bridge Entrance in Gwangi-gu, Seoul. Reactions to her appearance were mixed, with many still unaccepting Irene's return to the entertainment industry following her attitude scandal. Many noted that her vibe has drastically changed after her true colors were revealed. Some even said that Irene now looks "scary," when prior to the scandal, people praised her chic visuals.

However, many stood up to defend Irene, with some mentioning that Irene had apologized twice for the incident and has apologized to the victim personally. "Double Patty" Synopsis: Two Hopeful People Meet at a Burger Joint
"Double Patty" is a coming-of-age movie that tells the tale of a wrestling prospect named Woo Ram (Shin Seung Ho) who is facing a slump and an aspiring news anchor named Hyun Ji (Red Velvet's Irene) who works at a local hamburger shop. Woo Ram is busy preparing for a new gig when he visits the restaurant Hyun Ji works in. Woo Ram orders a burger with two patties, which has a "buy one, get one free" promo. This is what starts their relationship.
