CJ ENM will be holding the third online version of KCON and it will be filled with incredible stages by a star-studded lineup of participating artists!

ABOUT KCON

KCON is a major convention to celebrate Korean pop culture and entertainment and has been held in numerous countries all over the world including the United States, Japan, Australia, Mexico, and France. The event is conducted every year since 2012, with the first show taking place in Southern California. Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, CJ ENM held online versions of the event called "KCON:TACT."

Two digital renditions already took place last year, one in summer (from June 20 to 26) and the other one was in fall (from Oct. 16 to 25). And now, KCON:TACT 3 is set to be held from March 20 to 28.

What to Expect in KCON:TACT 3?

Viewers can expect customized content based on what is famous in every region, including fan meetings and workshops with local influencers. These events will be organized according to the time zones and languages of the regions. Fans will also be given the chance to have real-time participation in a certain program during KCON:TACT 3.

Moreover, Mnet will be directing concert stages to give artists some time to enjoy music with their fans. It is said that the performances will follow a "world tour" concept, in which various offline concert arenas will be shown through technology.

There will also be spin-off shows where K-pop artists can showcase more of their diverse musicality. Meet-and-greet events will be done as well, and these include idols creating content with their fans, talking about random things, and Korean stars sharing the music they listen to with their fans.

Here's KCON:TACT 3's First Lineup of Participating Artists

With regard to the K-pop artists who will be taking part in KCON:TACT 3, CJ ENM has revealed the first lineup. On Feb. 19, KCON took to its official SNS accounts to announce the groups and solo artists fans can expect to see at the event.

The first lineup of participating artists includes six idol groups: iKON, THE BOYZ, ENHYPEN, Oh My Girl, ITZY, and EVERGLOW. Two solo artists were also mentioned: WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn) and Ha Sung Woon, who is a former member of the project boy band WANNA ONE.

ITZY and Oh My Girl were also present at the first online version of KCON:TACT, while WOODZ and Ha Sung Woon were at KCON:TACT 2. THE BOYZ and EVERGLOW, on the other hand, participated in the first two digital renditions of the event. Meanwhile, this will be the first participation of iKON and rookie group ENHYPEN.

Where to Watch KCON:TACT 3?

KCON:TACT 3 will be conducted through several platforms so fans around the world will be able to access the event. In Korea, it will be held through TVing or tvN, while international fans can watch it through the KCON Official and Mnet K-pop YouTube channels.
