ASTRO Eunwoo Confesses About the Pressure of Being Called 'Face Genius' + Thoughts as an Idol-Actor
In an interview, ASTRO Eunwoo revealed his honest feelings about being referred to as a "Face Genius" idol. Along with this, he also answered if he has an identity crisis as actor Eunwoo and idol Eunwoo.
On February 20, the Korean media outlet YTN star released a written article about the video interview the media had with ASTRO Eunwoo held on the 18th.
This is in commemoration interview following the successful ending of the drama adaptation of Webtoon, "True Beauty," starring the actor Eunwoo.
Along with conveying his genuine thoughts and feelings as an actor, he also opened up about being an idol and the pressure his modifier, "Face Genius" carries.

ASTRO Eunwoo Opened up About His Modifier "Face Genius"
In the interview, the male idol sincerely talked about being referred to as a "Face Genius" idol, or a term that is used to define someone who has a striking appearance or a person with a close to perfection face.
Undoubtedly, the male idol is truly grateful for those who can appreciate him for his looks, but he confessed that he feels responsible for working harder when he hears the modifier.
Eunwoo said, "I don't think there are any disadvantages, but I hope you don't look at only my external attributes."
The male idol added that he hopes people, particularly his fans, Aroha (fandom of ASTRO), will also pay attention to his different aspects and images. Thus, along with his physical appearance, he also wants people to notice his coolness inside, a Cha Eunwoo who is both cool and good.

After finishing another successful drama, actor Eunwoo will be transitioning to come back as ASTRO and idol Eunwoo.
In the same interview, he also expressed his sentiments for being an "idol-actor."
"As an idol, there is joy and pleasure when you stand on stage. There is also a sense of accomplishment and pride that an actor can feel. I am grateful and blessed to be able to feel both of those things."
He also voiced out that he doesn't have any confusion about his identity as an actor and idol.
"When I'm an idol, I do my best as an idol Cha Eunwoo, and when I'm acting, I do my best to immerse myself in my character as an actor Cha Eunwoo."
At the end of the interview, Eunwoo announced that ASTRO is preparing well for their return to the music stage with another release. In particular, the boy group excites fans as on Feb. 19, Fantagio Music released a teaser photo confirming ASTRO's upcoming fan meeting.
In the photo, the phrase "2021 ASTRO AROHA Festival -Be Mine" drew the attention of music enthusiasts.
