There is no denying that more and more people are loving K-Pop personalities each passing day, However, along with the growing popularity, some idols continue to experience bashing and bullying online.

EXO Member Sehun Rudely Asked About His Gender Preference

On Friday, Feb. 19, EXO member Sehun surprised his avid followers when he started an Instagram Live wherein the idol interacted and talked to the fans as he enjoys some time alone with his glass of beer. The "Love Shot" singer, initially, shared that he could not fall asleep after he watched a heartbreaking film.

So, Sehun decided to spend time with his devoted supporters by starting a love broadcast late at night. The EXO member kicked off by reading some comments that his followers wrote on the live chat. The idol, then, responded to a number of queries.

However, in one point, one netizen asked the "Call Me Baby" hitmaker about his gender preference, saying: "Are you gay?" Stunned by the question, Sehun laughed and read the comment aloud.

Sehun shared that he did read the question and thinks that it is funny. The K-Pop idol, then, asked the viewers why some of them think that he is gay. The EXO member repeated the question and responded by saying that he is not.

The "Monster" singer gave an awkward giggle as he remained perplexed by the rude query.  Sehun continued to talk to the viewers and went on to answer other questions.

Following the Instagram live, supporters of Sehun quickly expressed their dismay regarding the rude question raised on his latest broadcast. Some thought that it was a "purely unethical question" to ask while others hope that the gay rumors should stop as the EXO member already responded to it.

There were also a few who praised Sehun for the way he answered to such a boorish question. The EXO member has yet to comment on the reactions of his devoted followers.

EXO Sehun Is Among the Top 10 Most Followed K-Pop Stars on Instagram

Meanwhile, Sehun was listed as one of the idols with the hugest followings on Instagram recently. The "Growl" hitmaker secured the No. 7 spot for amassing 21.2 million followers on the said social media platform.

EXO members Chanyeol and Baekhyun also made it to the list with 22.7 million followers and 20 million followers, respectively. Reports have it that Sehun Chanyeol and Baekhyun have seen an increase on their popularity since some of their co-members are currently serving the military. In other words, all the focus are on the trio right now.

BLACKPINK member Lisa dominated the list with 46.1 million followers. Her co-members Jennie came in second place with 39.2 million followers. Jisoo and Rosé, for their part, tied with more than 35.5 million followers each.

GOT7 member Jackson Wang came in No. 6 with 21.7 million followers on Instagram. G-Dragon nabbed the ninth spot with 19.1 million followers on Instagram. South Korean superstar IU, on the other hand, took the No. 10 spot with 18. 4 million followers.
