What Did Former MOMOLAND Member Yeonwoo Post To Worry Fans?
On Wednesday, Mar. 3, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo shared an excerpt from the novel "The Far Sea" to her Instagram account. While several South Korean celebrities have shared photos from books they are reading, this specific excerpt caused people to worry. The excerpt talks about hate and resentment, as well as no longer being afraid of death.
The specific excerpt reads:
"I hated you, and I seriously resented you.
I have come to an age where I am no longer afraid of dying. To the person that I love, I can say 'I love you,' and to the person that I hate, I can say, 'The weather is so cold,' and end the conversation there... As I live, I realized that I do not need anything more than these two phrases."
Why are People Worrying about Yeonwoo?
This is not the first time Yeonwoo shared something to her social media accounts that worried fans. Back in Jul. 2020, Yeonwoo shared a post to her fancafe, opening up about her thoughts. She talked about seeing many comments on her Instagram Lives that are hard to deal with.
Yeonwoo then revealed that she endured and suppressed how she truly feels. She said that she did not betray anyone because she went into a different line of work and revealed how painful it is to be judged by the people she loves.
She then goes on to say that she has a new job and that she did not have any other choice but to take this job, as she needs to do this to live and meet with her fans. With that, people speculated that Yeonwoo was kicked out of MOMOLAND and did not leave the group on her own accord.

Yeonwoo is part of MOMOLAND's original lineup, debuting with the group as their main rapper, vocalist, visual, and face of the group after winning a spot in the survival show "Finding MOMOLAND.
In 2019, Yeonwoo left MOMOLAND but remained signed to their agency, MLD Entertainment. According to the label, she left the company to focus on her acting career.
However, following the rise of bullying rumors among idols, some have started speculating that the root of her latest Instagram post and her past fan cafe past alludes to her being bullied in MOMOLAND. Others wondered if there was more bullying within the group, as some members do not follow each other on social media. Some users have commented that there have been rumors concerning conflicts within the group, with some alleging that the members were once seen fighting at a hospital. However, there are no reports to confirm this situation ever happened.
Yeonwoo nor MLD Entertainment have not commented on the speculation as of press time.
