On Sunday, Mar. 7, former AOA member Kwon Mina revealed that she still has not received an apology from former leader Jimin following the bullying controversy in an Instagram Live. Keep on reading to learn more.
Kwon Mina Reveals Shin Jimin Still Has Not Apologized To Her
Kwon Mina, who revealed that she did not have any physical difficulties due to the number of part-time jobs she had in the past, stated that her mental states worsened due to the bullying. "I did not know that my mentality so much because of that one kid (Jimin). Their cursing caused trauma for everything; my singing, my appearance, my body."
In particular, Kwon Mina stressed, "The perpetrator has made it so far without apologizing or acknowledging their wrongdoings. Even if she apologizes now, I have no intention of accepting their apology."
Kwon Mina also revealed that after the bullying incident reached the public, an AOA member called her and asked if she would accept Jimin's apology if she gave one. Kwon Mina, who only wanted to hear the words "I'm sorry," said she would.
"I thought for a moment if she really came to her senses and would post an apology. However, it never came, even after a long time. Of course, it could be because it was in the past, but it is obvious that she did not want to do it. I guess she was persuaded a lot," Mina told the viewers.

Kwon Mina then spoke about the time Jimin had visited her home. "I opened the door for her, and she started approaching me. She said she couldn't remember anything and then told me, 'I thought we had solved everything at the funeral home?' I told her, 'What did we solve, what did we even talk about?' That is what happened, but Jimin told everyone that she had apologized."
Kwon Mina, who revealed that she had not even talked to Jimin at the time, said she cried alone at the funeral home and cried alone for 10 years and 2 months due to the constant harassment. "So I even brought up a portrait of my father and said, 'Let's be honest to ourselves. Admit that you remember. At least admit it.'"
Kwon Mina told Jimin, "I am really curious. From the perspective of the perpetrator, do you really not remember?" She then revealed that she still goes to therapy due to the trauma she endured. The former AOA member then revealed, "What Jimin told me was 'I want to lead you to the right path.'"
Kwon Mina revealed she was so upset with the apology she received that she could not help but raise her voice. She then revealed another member of AOA, someone who revealed "swore the most in front of me," stuck by the side of Jimin and asked her, "Do you not have any good memories?" Mina revealed that she wanted to just be quiet at the time.
Mina reveals that Jimin has never apologized nor acknowledged her wrongdoings. However, Jimin's mother has continuously apologized on her daughter's behalf. Kwon Mina confesses that she respects Jimin's mother a lot but cannot forgive Jimin for what she did.
