MONSTA X Bonded with MONBEBE through The MX UNIVERSITY
MONSTA X met with their MONBEBE in the recently-concluded MX University, the virtual fan convention held on the group's Naver V LIVE, March 6 to 7.
Inspired by the concept of "Spring, when the fresh wind tickles the tip of your nose, of having a special college life with fans," the members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. acted as the university seniors during the program - sending waves of warmth and excitement across their junior MONBEBE.
The Starship Entertainment boy group opened the two-day event with a montage featuring all six members of the prestigious MX University. Before opening with the visually impressive "Stand Up" stage, MONSTA X greeted everyone: "We have waited for this day more than anything. We're both nervous and excited!"
Bringing the fun and thrill of university life, the MX University event brought various segments to the two-day program. From group activities showing their closeness with MONBEBE to fun segments like "Deep Major Game" and "MX University Direct Delivery," both the artists and their devoted fan base had fun. Also aside from the games, MONSTA X read letters from fans, expressing their appreciation and promising to be worthy of the fans' love and support.
Also, MONSTA X created a unique and intimate experience by playing different pre-recorded videos. As a sort of throwback experience, the now-seniors of MX University reminisced their freshman days. Through their stories of hard work from their trainee days at Starship Entertainment up until the success they now have, MONSTA X acknowledges their MONBEBE who have been with them through every step of the way.
After the different parts of the MX University program, MONSTA X gave their all in dominating performances to the delight of their junior MONBEBE. They performed "Middle of the Night," "You Can't Hold My Heart," "Nobody Else," "By My Side," and "DRAMARAM."
Fans were also treated to special unit performances: Minhyuk and I.M performed "Last Carnival," Hyungwon and Kihyun did "Night View," and Jooheon and Shownu rounded up with "Thirst."
