Will BTS Becomes First K-pop Group to Win a Grammy Award?

Meanwhile, BTS was named as a nominee and performer for the "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" category at the 2021 Grammy Awards, set on March 15. The Grammy Award winner will be decided by a vote of members of the U.S. Recording Academy, which consists of artists, lyricists, producers, and engineers from around the world.

Though BTS "Dynamite" has a huge chance of winning, there is still debate if Grammys will finally be opening their door for K-pop acts. Thus, the thrill of whether to win or not are giving the K-pop industry excitement and nervousness for the result.

On the other hand, BTS members RM, Jin, and Jimin, who hosted a V Live broadcast on March 13, expressed their nervousness by referring to the Grammy.

"Grammy is just around the corner," they said. "I've got a lot of messages of support. It would be nice to tell you various back-and-forth situations or behind-the-scenes stories of the Grammy, but it's not easy to tell because it's not on the stage. "

Jimin then expressed, "I have a lot of thoughts. I was actually sad yesterday. I'm so thankful, but I want to perform in front of (the fans) and meet them."
