K-pop boy group NCT Dream will be present at Lazada's 9th birthday celebrations and will decorate the event with spectacular performances.

NCT Dream Chosen as One of the Performing Artists for Lazada's 9th Birthday Celebrations

Lazada is Southeast Asia's top eCommerce platform that was founded in 2012. It is available in six different countries, namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The platform offers a wide range of products in various categories, from fashion to sports equipment.

This month, Lazada will be commemorating its 9th anniversary, and to make the celebration more memorable, a virtual concert titled Lazada Super Party will be held. It is slated to be simulcast across the said six nations.

This year's theme is "Everyday Heroes" to pay tribute to frontline essential workers who have dedicated their lives during this prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to highlight individuals in our community who have helped other people in need.

On March 15, the eCommerce platform unveiled a star-studded lineup of performers, and one of them is the South Korean boy group NCT Dream. The K-pop boy group will be sharing the stage with top celebrities in Southeast Asia, like Agnez Mo, Haqiem Rusli, Alden Richards, Jasmine Sokko, Da Endorphine, Ha Anh Tuan, and more.

A video featuring NCT Dream was shared via Lazada's Twitter and Instagram accounts in each country.

NCT Dream, along with the other performing artists including famous American singer-songwriter Katy Perry, will entertain the consumers as they count down to Lazada's "Surprise Birthday Sale" event that will kick off at midnight on March 27.

When and Where to Watch Lazada's 9th Birthday Celebrations?

Consumers across the six countries can watch the exclusive Lazada Super Party concert on March 26 at 9:30 p.m. via Lazada's in-app livestream channel, LazLive. The event will also air on local broadcasting networks and various social media platforms.

The virtual concert will include Lazada's signature Shoppertainment segments such as Voucher Rain, free shipping promotions, Guess It! and Shake It!, and more in the six countries where viewers can earn vouchers and exclusive giveaways that can be used for Lazada's Surprise Birthday Sale.

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM is a sub-unit of SM Entertainment's boy band NCT. It consists of seven members, namely Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Renjun, Chenle, Jaemin, and Jisung. The septet debuted in August 2016 with the single "Chewing Gum.

NCT DREAM's last comeback as a unit is in April 2020 with an extended play titled "Reload," which features its lead single "Ridin', an urban-trap-genre song with lyrics that give a spotlight to the group's aspirations in their coming new path. The track received great support not only in South Korea but also abroad.

In October of the same year, NCT DREAM rejoined the rest of NCT sub-units to release their second full album with two parts: NCT 2020 Resonance Pt. 1 and NCT 2020 Resonance Pt. 2, which sold more than 2.6 million copies overall.
