Rosé, a member of the group BLACKPINK revealed her own unique age calculation method through JTBC's "Knowing Bros."

On March 19, a preview for the March 20 episode of "Knowing Bros" was revealed, featuring real-life best friends BLACKPINK Rosé and "Power Celebrity" Hyeri.

The female idols, who will return as transfer students to commemorate Rosé's first solo album, are expected to showcase their close relationship, as well as fun and exciting facts about them.

In a recent recording, the two shared various stories as well as a funny incident because of each other's pajamas, which made them laugh. In addition, they revealed the dance story of Rosé's event, which surprised Hyeri, spreading contagious laughter around the classroom.

Meanwhile, Rosé, who just debuted as a solo artist with her first album, "R," narrated her unique age calculation method.

The "On the Ground" singer surprised the viewers when she claimed on her social media that she's "Officially 25." In particular, Rosé has been using her international age, which made her only 23 years old in 2020.

 The "Knowing Bros" brothers then asked the reason and teased her if her age is like a rubber band, which made her leap another year.

 In response, Rosé explained, "The word "half-fifty" sounds so good that I calculated my age in the Korean way this year."

In addition to this, Rosé also revealed her age plan for 2022 and gave the scene a big smile, which will all be broadcasted through "Knowing Brothers" this 20th at 9 p.m. KST.

BLACKPINK Rosé Sets Personal YouTube Channel Record After Surpassing 1 million Subscribers in 15 hours

Rosé, the main vocalist of BLACKPINK, also sets her personal record and joined some of the fastest solo YouTube channels to reach 1 million subscribers in just 15 hours.

On March 19, her YouTube subscribers have exceeded approximately 1.4 million along with her first YouTube channel video, which also recorded 2.9 million views (as of 4 p.m. KST). The video showed Rosé interviewing her as a child. Rose recalled the reason why in Australia she was named ROSEANNE and reminisce about the house where she lived when she was young.

On the other hand, Rosé, who released her first solo album, "R," also said, "What I made a big commitment to preparing for my solo debut was that I thought I should enjoy each process."

As soon as "R" was released, about 280,000 copies were sold per day, ranking first in the Hanteo Chart album category. The pre-order sales also accumulated more than 500,000 copies, boasting the highest single album record of all female solo artists in Korea.

The title song "On The Ground" conveys the message of aiming high, but it was also important to look back on the ground which where one started.

The title track, "On the Ground," reached iTunes top songs charts in 51 countries on the day of its release, and the music video exceeded 1.2 million simultaneous hits.
