Soyou, a former member of "Summer Queens" SISTAR shared her journey to fans as she targets to lose 10kg through her two-month diet challenge--- from her current weight of 62.4kg!

In the previous video content uploaded by the former SISTAR Soyou on her YouTube channel, "SOYOUGI," the singer expressed her earnest desire to lose weight in two months, unveiling her K-pop idol's diet tips.

In the video, Soyou revealed that she's happy with her current weight, but she also mentioned why she decided to lose weight. Along with this, she also shared her healthy diet tips with the viewers, and encourage her supporters to do the two-month diet challenge with her.

The newly uploaded video contains Soyou's diet challenge announcement.

 Soyou said, "There's something I've always wanted to try. I watched 'Fit to Fat to Fit," an American show program and it was so amazing. I thought it would be fun to do that kind of content later, and as there aren't many activities because of coronavirus, I don't have much work. That's why I thought I would gain 10kg and lose 10kg. I ate like crazy as soon as my photoshoots were over," conveying that she was able to do it now because she has time.

She added, "I was so happy for two weeks, but now I have a U-shaped face and my cheeks got cubby. My body is more shocking than my face," she said, revealing the photo after gaining weight.

Meanwhile, she further explained why she decided to lose some of her fats. Soyou conveyed that the shocking benefits of her weight gain were being able to take a good sleep after eating, which she can't do before. The female idol also said that she initially wants to keep her body as her chest and hips got bigger due to her fats, which solved her problem of having a smaller chest as she grows older.

However, she becomes lethargic after gaining weight, and her clothes don't fit as well to her anymore unless it's stretchable. Thus, she decided to do the diet challenge.

Soyou Revealed K-pop Idol's "How to Diet" Tips

The current weight of Soyou is 62.4kg, which is the former SISTAR member's heaviest weight in her life. On her first night, she went out for evening yoga and said that people who want to lose weight should love exercising first.

With this, the female star also gave diet tips. Soyou said, "Before you go on a diet, you have to plan. You need to stay healthy on a diet, but if you reduce your diet too much, you will eat too much. You have to eat every three meals a day. If you have a hard time eating breakfast, you can replace it with protein food. You can focus on salads or protein when you eat outside of regular meals. You should eat rice with half-air or replace it with brown rice or konjac rice when you have a regular meal."

Lastly, she shared her exercise plan which is a combination of yoga and lifting weights.

" I'm going to go to yoga 2-3 times a week, and weight goes five times a week. Yoga is incidental. It is a concept of training that fills positive energy. Since I'm not in my normal weight right now, I need to do cardio to lose fat."
