MAMAMOO's agency, RBW is currently under fire for making statements showing their support for the "One-China" principle on their social media accounts.

RBW's Social Media Posts Showing Support for the "One-China" Principle

On Mar. 31, MAMAMOO's agency, RBW, has come under fire for making statements that show their support for the "One-China" principle on their social media accounts. In a now-deleted post made on both Weibo and Instagram, the company posted a message saying, "Our company has consistently adhered to the One-China Principle."

The post garnered attention from both Korean and international netizens worldwide, showing their disappointment and criticizing the company for supporting the principle. The "One-China" principle is a principle that declares there is only one sovereign state under China, as opposed to two, such as the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China.

The company's statement allegedly came after a trainee under RBW and currently participating in a Chinese program made a statement declaring that Taiwan is an independent nation.

Netizens on Twitter began to trend "RBW OUT" to make the company properly apologize for their statements.

In addition, fans of artists under RBW, such as MAMAMOO, ONEUS, VROMANCE, and more, are worried that the company's statement could negatively affect its artists.
