Mommy Son Celebrates Birthday With the Release of 'F The World'

Mommy Son, the enigmatic Korean rapper in a pink mask, celebrated his birthday last March 25 with the release of "Mommyson: F The World," featuring fellow rapper Wonstein.

A music video uploaded on Mommy Son's YouTube channel shows two children - a boy and a girl running away - as he begins rapping to an acoustic pop rhythm.

The two kids in the video then run into an empty movie theatre, as the little girl starts to cry, the boy with her tries to cheer her up with a variety of antics.

The girl continues to cry until the boy invites her to dance, leading to an inspiring and light dance sequence.

Having fun together, the kids play around and watch a movie in the theater, even wearing the signature pink mask worn by Mommy Son. The two children finish the music video with a serene continuation of their performance on the beach.

As for the song, it is summarized by its straightforward title "F The World." In this world filled with challenges and negativity, sometimes all people need is someone to lean on and the courage to say "F The World."

"Are u mad/ You look sad/ But that's okay/ We have each other/ With crooked footprints/ Skirt, let's leave here/ So F the world/ Run away fast as we can/ So F the world/ Baby run away fast as we can," the chorus goes in a mix of English and Korean.

The music video earned praises from netizens, who appreciated the idea of the song as well as the performances of the two young stars in the video. Hyun Seo Sim, who portrays the young boy in the MV, is a theater actor known for the lead role in the South Korean production of "Billy Elliot the Musical. He has also appeared in the short film "Yuwol," a dance film about a boy who never stops dancing.

On the other hand, the young girl in the MV is Goeun Lee, known as one of the most popular child actors in Korea. Recently, she appeared in the hit television series "True Beauty," where she portrays the younger Im Ju Kyung, the main character.

The dance sequence used in the "F The World" music video was choreographed by international dance icon Jay Kim. According to the team behind the MV, Jay Kim was able to create a thought-provoking choreography he shared to the two young actors in only six sessions spanning three weeks.
