Golden Child Records Personal Highest Album Sales with 'YES.'
Golden Child has obtained a new personal highest album sales record with their new release "YES."
On Jan. 25, the K-pop boy group made their comeback after more than three months with a new mini-album titled "YES." The album comprises a total of six songs, one of which is the title track "Burn It."

Golden Child's "Burn It" is a reggaeton-style single with an emotional melody and powerful rhythm. Members TAG and Jangjun are credited for writing the lyrics, which express the pain felt while witnessing a loved one having a tough time.
On Feb. 25, Golden Child dropped a volleyball-themed music video for the B-side song "Breathe" from their "YES" album. The track features refreshing bass, guitar, and synth sounds, and conveys a message of hope in overcoming difficulties and get back on your feet. Jangjun and TAG also participated in writing "Breathe."
Golden Child Obtains New Personal Highest Album Sales with "YES."
Based on the latest Gaon Monthly Chart for March 2021, Golden Child's fifth mini-album "YES." has sold a total of 113,966 copies as of March 31. The boy group was able to sell 27,390 copies of their new album within the entire March, sitting at No. 20 on the monthly Gaon Album Chart.

This past January, Golden Child's "YES." sold a total of 74,863 copies and claimed the No. 9 position on the monthly Gaon Album Chart, which is the album's peak. Then, in February, 11,713 more albums were sold, making "YES" take the No. 42 spot on the rankings.

Their cumulative album sales with "YES." is 15,727 copies more than their previous record with their second single album "Pump It Up." This means Golden Child has now achieved their personal highest album sales record with "YES.," which is now the group's bestselling album.

In addition, this is the first time in more than three years that Golden Child has recorded over 100,000 copies since they made their debut in August 2017. The group's cumulative album sales with "YES" only show their increasing popularity.
Previously, Golden Child's "YES." Even peaked at No. 2 on the weekly Gaon Album Chart, and ranked 42nd on the weekly Oricon Album Chart.
When it comes to music shows, Golden Child was able to take two trophies with their new title track "Burn It." They won on SBS MTV's "The Show" and MBC M's "Show Champion" last February. These two music show trophies mark the group's first two music show wins after more than one year since their first-ever trophy in December 2019 with "WANNABE."
Golden Child's "YES." Attains More than 100,000 Copies Sold on Hanteo Chart
Not only did Golden Child achieve their highest album sales on Gaon Chart, but the group has also recorded their highest album sales on Hanteo Chart. This past March, it was also revealed that Golden Child's "YES." has sold more than 100,000 copies on Hanteo, becoming the band's very first album to do so.
