PENOMECO Joins P Nation with an Exclusive Contract

On April 20, P Nation announced on their official Instagram account the newest addition in the label, PENOMECO, and that both have signed an exclusive contract with each other.

Previously, P Nation uploaded a teaser announcement on their Instagram account on April 19 that the label will be joined by a new artist. In the picture, the artist was covered by a curtain, which piqued the interest of fans of P Nation.

PENOMECO made his debut in October 2014 with his single "Right There," and has since then released multiple singles such as "Tempo," "23," "SMT (So Many Times)," "For You," "COCO BOTTLE" and more. In addition, PENOMECO had also collaborated with artists and featured in various songs such as "Say Yes or No," "Oh I," "Another Level," "MSG," "Say It," and more. He is also a member of the hip hop crew Fanxy Child along with Zico, Crush, Dean, Millic, and Staytuned.

Besides releasing his own music, PENOMECO also gained recognition for his participation in composing and producing many hit songs such as NCT U's "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)," ITZY's "ICY," EXO's "Tempo," Jessi's "NUNU NANA," Zico's "Artist," Red Velvet's "Taste" and more.

In other news, PENOMECO will be releasing his second album, "Dry Flower," on April 20 at 6 pm KST. "Dry Flower" will feature ten tracks, including his title track "JAJA." This will be PENOMECO's first release as an artist under P Nation, with expectations high as to what kind of music PENOMECO will be releasing since joining P Nation.

Other Artists Under P Nation

P Nation, which was founded in October 2018 by singer and producer PSY, who created the legendary hit songs "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," currently has seven artists under the record label - including PSY himself.

In 2019, P Nation's first artists were singer and rapper Jessi and power couple Hyuna and Dawn.

Jessi's first song released under P Nation was "Who Dat B," which peaked at no.8 on Billboard's "World Digital Songs Sales" and at no.68 on "K-Pop Hot 100." Since then, Jessi has released other hit songs such as "Drip" featuring Jay Park, "Nunu Nana," and her latest single, "What Type of X."

Hyuna's first release under P Nation was "Flower Shower," which peaked at no.6 on Billboard's "World Digital Songs Sales." Her most recent release was "I'm Not Cool" in January 2021, peaking at no.8.

Dawn, formerly E-Dawn, made his re-debut as a solo artist under the label with "Money." In 2020, he made his comeback with "Dawndididawn," featuring labelmate Jessi. He also released "Party, Feel, Love" with Hyuna.

Crush joined P Nation in late 2019 and has since then released five singles, an extended play, and a studio album. He enlisted in his mandatory military service in November 2020.

In late 2020, Heize and D.Ark also joined P Nation.
