TXT to Make Comeback with 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE' Album

TXT, known as Tomorrow X Together, announced the upcoming release of their second full-length album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," on May 31 through their official fan community on the global platform, Weverse.

TXT first started with their debut album and extended play, "The Dream Chapter: STAR," which was released on March 4, 2019. Followed by their first full-length album, "The Dream Chapter: MAGIC," and their second mini-album, "The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY."

Through the "The Dream Chapter" series, TXT conveyed and showcased a narrative on the growth of the group who pursue their dreams. With the release of their "Minisode1: Blue Hour" in 2020, the five members: Huening Kai, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Yeonjun, and Soobin, told a short story before moving on to the next part in "The Dream Chapter."

According to media outlets, the group is planning to showcase a wider and deeper world of music by presenting the prelude to their new series through "The Chaos Chapter: Freeze."

In other news, TXT peaked at no.25 on Billboard's album chart, "Billboard 200," with their extended play, "Minisode1: Blue Hour," breaking their previous records. In addition, they also charted in Billboard's "Top Album Sales" and "World Album," showing off their potential to reach the top ranks.

Expectations are rising about what kind of music and performances TXT, who proved themselves as a fourth-generation idol representative, will showcase in their new and upcoming album.

TXT Performs "We Lost the Summer" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

Earlier this month, media outlets reported that TXT will be making a guest appearance on the popular talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on April 16.

On April 16, the group performed "We Lost the Summer" from their latest mini-album, "Minisode1: Blue Hour," which was released in October 2020.

"We Lost the Summer" depicts the struggles one experiences when missing a loved one, as well as being unable to explore due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview, TXT member Beomgyu said that the song is about teenagers who are experiencing struggles caused by the pandemic, such as being unable to hang out with friends, go to school, and more.

"We Lost the Summer" was co-composed by British singer and songwriter Charli XCX.

The group's appearance on the American talk show marked their first time appearing on such and marked their third appearing on an American platform.
