BLACKPINK Rosé's "Gone" is the Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video by a Female Artist in April 2021

Ranking at the top is BLACKPINK member Rosé's solo song, "Gone." According to K-Pop Radar, "Gone" gained a whopping 61,259,449 new views in Apr. 2021. The video was released on Apr. 4, 2021, and as of the time of writing on May 1, it has 61,620,350 views.

Previously, on Mar. 27, 2021, Rosé confirmed through Instagram Live that a music video for "Gone" was coming soon.

On Mar. 31, both Rosé and YG Entertainment took to Instagram to announce the release of the music video in five days. The music video was released on Apr. 4. Within half a day of its release, the music video for "Gone" surpassed ten million views on YouTube.

In the first 24 hours of its release, "Gone" surpassed 15 million views, making it the fourth-biggest 24-hour debut for a Korean female soloist.

YG Entertainment shared a behind-the-scenes video was uploaded to the BLACKPINK YouTube channel on Apr. 7, 2021.

BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" is the Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video by a Girl Group in April 2021

The most viewed music video by a K-pop girl group is BLACKPINK's Jun. 2018 release, "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which ranked at number three on K-Pop Radar's Monthly Chart for YouTube Viewcount among females.

In Apr. 2021, the music video received 30,318,755 new views. As of the time of writing, "DDU-DU DDU-DU" has 1,567,712,477 views on YouTube.

Upon the music video's release, it garnered 36.2 million views, making it the most-viewed online video in the first 24 hours by a Korean act at the time.

Five months after it was released, "DDU-DU DDU-DU" became the fastest music video to surpass 500 million views.

On Jan. 21, 2019, it was revealed that the video averaged 2.5 million views per day and has amassed 620.9 million views.

On Nov. 11, 2019, "DDU-DU DDU-DU" surpassed 1 billion views, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop group to achieve this feat. The video surpassed 1.5 billion views on Feb. 23, 2021.
