NCT DREAM Takes No.1 Spot on iTunes & Various Music Charts with 'Hot Sauce'

On May 10, KST, NCT DREAM released their first regular album, "Hot Sauce," and in just 24-hours, the album has already taken the top spots on various album charts, such as Hanteo Chart, Shinnara Records, Hot Tracks, and Yes24.

In addition, the album's title track of the same name, "Hot Sauce," ranked first on major music charts such as Genie, Bugs, and FLO, proving NCT DREAM's popularity in the domestic music market.

Not only is NCT DREAM sweeping the domestic charts, but they are also taking over international charts such as iTunes! "Hot Sauce" is currently at no.1 on the iTunes Top Album Chart in 37 different regions worldwide, such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Australia, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Peru, Turkey, Brunei, Ecuador, Russia, Israel, Guatemala, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Colombia.

In addition, NCT DREAM receives a platinum certification for "Hot Sauce," achieving more than 1 million Chinese yuan (approximately 155,600 USD or 174.1 million KRW) in album sales on QQ Music in China, making the album rank no.1 on QQ Music's album sales chart. "Hot Sauce" also took the no.1 rank in Line Music's album chart in Japan and KuGou Music's digital album chart in China. The album also ranked no.1 in the Top 100 chart in Rakuten Music's real-time charts.

NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce" Surpasses 1.71 Million Album Pre-Orders

Ahead of the group's first regular album release, "Hot Sauce" had recorded a total of 1,716,571 album pre-orders as of May 9 KST. The new album saw a 243 percent increase from their previous album and fourth extended play, "Replay," breaking the group's own record.

"Hot Sauce" tracklist includes the title track of the same name, "Hot Sauce," "Diggity," "Dive Into You," "My Youth," "Rocket," "Countdown (3, 2, 1)," "ANL," "Irreplaceable," "Be There For You," and "Rainbow." With a total of ten songs, the album features a variety of genres.

The album's title track is a hip-hop song with a strong and unique signature sound that will leave listeners putting the song on repeat. Its lyrics are stimulating like hot sauce, showing a strong charm that you can't escape once you have a taste of it. Though hot, "Hot Sauce" still shows off a relaxed charisma by NCT DREAM.
