Red Velvet's Yeri and SHINee's Minho Prove Their Basically Siblings in New Instagram Interaction
On Tuesday, May 11, Yeri shared a series of selfies to her Instagram account. The photos show the idols smiling brightly into the camera. Her hair is dyed brown, and she appears to be outdoors, with fans speculating she is on the set of the web drama "Blue Birthday."
Though it is not obvious, Yeri is wearing a schoolgirl uniform, with a white blouse, dark blue vest, and tie.
The photo set also includes photos of trees and the sunshine.
Fans complimented Yeri and commented that she appeared genuinely happy in these photos. Soon, Minho, too, left a comment under her post.
His comment reads, "Oh, it is Squirtle! Hey, Squirtle, you little cutie, stop acting as if you are busy!"
Yeri replied to Minho's comment on her Instagram, saying that she missed him and even left a white heart. She cutely calls him "oppa," which is the Korean word for "older brother."
Minho then took to Instagram to playfully reply to Yeri's comment, saying, "That is a lie. Lie, lie, lie! Since the beginning, I knew you were like this!"
Fans who saw the duo's adorable interaction could not help but express happiness seeing the two interact. Some netizens say the interaction caused them to smile, while others voiced jealousy over a relationship like Yeri and Minho.

On Apr. 7, it was announced that Yeri was cast as the female lead for the upcoming web series "Blue Birthday."
In Feb. 2021, Yeri made her acting debut in the tvN one-act drama, "Drama Stage." She starred in the episode "Mint Condition."
