Park Ji Hoon, ASTRO Set to Star in Upcoming UNIVERSE Original Series
Park Ji Hoon and ASTRO are the next artists to get their own web series as a part of the UNIVERSE Original platform.
NCSoft and Klap announced last May 10 that Park Ji Hoon will be leading "Prince Escape: Prisoner 5959" and ASTRO will have "Space Force A: A Secret Golden Bowl." The shows began airing on the K-pop fan interaction platform UNIVERSE on the same day at 10 AM KST.

Prince Escape: Prisoner 5959
"Prince Escape: Prisoner 5959" will see Park Ji Hoon as the titular prince and prisoner in his very own UNIVERSE Original series. He is set to risk his life to escape "Winkshank,"the world's most notorious prison facility after he was wrongfully accused and imprisoned. His sudden transformation from Prince of Maru to Prisoner 5959, and his daring escape attempt will certainly keep fans curious - with his courage and wits put to the test over the ten-episode web series.
In a teaser released a week before its release, Park Ji Hoon is shown in a prison outfit standing against a lineup wall. Additionally, a wanted poster showing the singer-actor can be seen burning as the teaser video ends.
"To vindicate himself, he must escape from this place! Now as a prisoner called 5959, PARK JIHOON must risk his life to escape from Winkshank!" the teaser description on YouTube read.
Space Force A: Secret Golden Bowl
In the UNIVERSE Original series "Space Force A: Secret Golden Bowl," the members of ASTRO - JinJin, MJ, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky and Sanha - become the members of A6, the legendary troublemakers at the Space and Air Force Academy. However, right before their gradation exam, the boys decided on another mischievous adventure but what they found was not the exam leakage, but a top-level confidential document. Even worse, the A6 members were suddenly warped into the middle of a space war, not to their graduation exam site!
In the middle of an all-out space war, will A6 be able to return to the Academy and actually graduate?
The teaser for "Space Force A: Secret Golden Bowl" shows the six ASTRO members as academy students, wearing orange and gray overalls as they supposedly prepare for their graduation before they're thrown in the middle of a war - with the mysterious Golden Bowl being the only key to their victory.
Both series is set for ten episodes, with new episodes aired exclusively on the UNIVERSE app every Monday and Wednesday at 10 AM KST.
