New Boy Group Just B to Make Their Debut This Summer - Will Comprise Six Members

On May 21, Just B opened their official Twitter account and released an image showing their official logo. Bluedot Entertainment has also launched a YouTube channel for the upcoming boy group as they prepare for their debut.

On the same day, the company revealed that Just B will be composed of six members whose initials are J, D, S, L, B, and G. Kakao M's sub-label even gave hints related to them through Twitter Space service.

The official profile teasers for the Just B members will be unveiled one by one every day starting from May 24 at midnight KST. The exact debut date of the new K-pop group is yet to be announced.

Just B will be the first boy group to debut under a sub-label of Kakao M in more than three years since The Boyz, who debuted in December 2017 under Cre.ker Entertainment (a subsidiary of Kakao M).

Who Will The Members of New Boy Group Just B Be?

The members of the new boy group are previously known by fans as the pre-debut team PlayM Boys, Fave Boys, and Bluedot Boys. They are the counterpart to the PlayM Girls, which are now the rookie girl group Weeekly.

PlayM Boys was initially made up of six members namely Lim Hyeong Bin, Jung Jin Sung, Lee Seung Hwan, Song Byeong Hee, Lim Jimin, and Jeon Do Yum. All of them except for Jimin were first introduced as contestants in the survival show "Under Nineteen" in November 2018.

In the final episode of the program, Do Yum, Jin Sung, and Seung Hwan made it to the lineup of members of will debut as the project boy group 1THE9 in April 2019. 1THE9 disbanded in August last year, following the release of their last mini-album "Good Bye 1THE9."

In January this year, it was announced that all three remaining members of PlayM Boys (Byeong Hee, Jimin, and Do Yum) signed with Bluedot Entertainment. Hence, they will be part of the upcoming boy group Just B.

Byeong Hee and Jimin are said to be part of the vocal team, while Do Yum would be the main dancer and main rapper.

Just B Jimin was a participant on SBS's survival show "The Fan," where ITZY's Yeji also competed. He received praise from BTS Jimin after covering their song "Blood Sweat & Tears."

In addition, he is friends with current K-pop idols including Stray Kids's I.N and TXT's Beomgyu. Jimin even made his solo debut in May 2019 with his first single "Mini."

Aside from these three members, it is rumored the former "I-LAND" contestant Lee Geun Woo will debut in Just B. The two other members are still unknown.

Meanwhile, Bluedot Entertainment has been uploading photos and videos of the three Just B members on Twitter and YouTube.
