AB6IX, UNIVERSE Music Drops 'GEMINI' Teaser (Journey Ver.)
Ahead of their new song, AB6IX and UNIVERSE Music dropped the first music video teaser, the "Journey Ver," for "GEMINI."
NCSoft and Klap, developers of the latest K-pop fan interaction platform UNIVERSE, dropped the "'GEMINI' Official Music Video TEASER (Journey Ver.)" across their social networking sites. It is the first of MV teasers, to be followed by a "Starlight Ver," according to their previously released a schedule of activities for the latest UNIVERSE Music song.

In the 30-second teaser, a soft light fills the various backgrounds that show the AB6IX members Woong, Donghyun, Woojin, and Daehwi in various stages of the upcoming "GEMINI" MV. One highlight of the short music video teaser is the sequence showing all four members in matching pink outfits, riding a car across a deserted wasteland. Showing their impressive visuals up close, the members raise excitement and curiosity among ABNEW, the group's global fanbase.
The teaser ends as one of the members turns a trinket hanging from the rearview mirror, revealing it to be a compass. An abrupt cut shows the title card for "GEMINI," set for release on May 24, Monday, 6 PM KST.
AB6IX is the latest artist under the NCSoft and Klap-developed fan interaction platform to release an original single under the UNIVERSE Music banner. They are also the second group this May 2021, releasing weeks after Kang Daniel's "Outerspace" (Feat. Loco). UNIVERSE Music began last January with IZ*ONE's "D-D-Dance," followed by Jo Sumi and Rain's "Guardians" in February, Park Ji Hoon's "Call U Up" (Feat. LeeHi) in March, and (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance" (Prod. GroovyRoom) for April.
Aside from their upcoming single, AB6IX has also hosted a virtual fan event through the platform. In their own "Pajama Party," the members of the Brand New Music boy group had the chance to hold a one on one video call with lucky ABNEW through a lottery draw conducted on the UNIVERSE app.
