BTS Continues to Chart on Billboard 200 With Three Albums

Superstar idol group, BTS, continues to show their global influence by staying on the Billboard 200 chart with three of their albums.

According to the latest Billboard charts released on May 25 for the week of May 29, BTS's fourth regular album, "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," that was released on February 21, 2020, took the no.123 spot on the Billboard 200 chart on May 2, 2021. However, the album fell four places from the 119th spot on the charts the previous week.

With this, "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" succeeded in charting on Billboard 200 for its 65th consecutive week, showing no signs of leaving the charts anytime soon.

In addition, BTS's fifth regular album, "BE," which was released on November 20, 2020, also continues its streak on the charts. According to Billboard, "BE" is currently ranked at no.161 on Billboard 200, falling two places from the previous week's chart. This marks the album's 26th consecutive week on the chart.

Lastly, the group's third compilation album, "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer,'" has made its way back into the Billboard 200 chart. On May 25, "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" took the no.152 spot, making it the 99th time that the album has been on the charts since its release. "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" was released on August 24, 2018.

Meanwhile, BTS was nominated in four categories at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, such as Top/Duo Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist, and Top Selling Song. The awards ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last May 24, with BTS snagging the award in all the categories that they were nominated in.

BTS Drops "Butter" Dance Practice Video

On May 25, BTS dropped their smooth-like "Butter" dance practice video on their official Youtube channel, BANGTANTV.

In the dance video, we get to see for the first time the new practice rooms in HYBE's new building, which features a dark and very spacious interior - perfect for BTS's dance choreographies!

The BTS members, who are donning casual yet stylish clothes, give us a carefree and relaxed choreography, allowing us to better see the dance moves and details that weren't captured during their 2021 Billboard Music Awards debut performance of the song.

Just less than two hours after the video dropped, the dance practice video had already garnered more than 1.1 million likes with more than 486k views as of this writing.
