ITZY Yuna, TXT Yeonjun, and More: Korean Media Outlet Selects the 4th Generation Idols with ‘Golden Balance’ in Vocals, Dance, and Visual

On Tuesday, Jun. 1, South Korean media outlet Newsen selected the fourth generation K-pop idols with a "golden balance" in visuals, dance, and vocals.

As the status of K-pop rises worldwide, the more the industry debuts all-rounders. Gone are the days where groups adhere to one position; nowadays, more and more idols with a "golden balance" excel in singing, dancing, and visuals. 

Among the fourth generation idols leading the next generation of K-pop, Newsen selected the idols attracting attention for being talented in all aspects. 

The first idol mentioned is ITZY member Yuna, who debuted in 2019. Yuna is the maknae of the group and is in charge of both vocals and rap. With her fantastic physique and splendid visuals that appear to have come straight out of a webtoon, Yuna captured attention the moment she debuted.

Her fan cam for "DALLA DALLA" is still being talked about to this day. With her overflowing talents, beautiful dance lines, and duality on stage, Yuna is one of the industry's "golden balance" idols.

The first and only male idol mentioned is TXT member Yeonjun, who also debuted in 2019. While the group and Yeonjun first made headlines as BTS's younger brother group, Yeonjun has drawn attention for his attractive visuals. Additionally, while Yeonjun is the group's main dancer, he has talents in all aspects.

Ever since he was a Big Hit Entertainment trainee, Yeonjun has shown dance, vocals, and rap skills. Since his debut, Yeonjun has shown steady growth as the group's center.

The next idol mentioned is STAYC member Yoon, who debuted in Sept. 2020. The idol is known for her vocals, dancing, and visuals that stand out among her members.

Yoon, who has an official vocal position within the group, has shown off her incredible singing voice from the moment she debuted.

Additionally, the idol is known for its extraordinary physique and fruity visuals. Though it has only been eight months since they have debuted, Yoon has shown that her live vocals are stable while passionately dancing. Her visuals never waver while on-stage, proving her "golden balance."

The final idol mentioned is aespa member Winter! aespa debuted in Nov. 2020 and is the first girl group from SM Entertainment since Red Velvet. The group initially made headlines for their cinematic universe and "ae" counterparts.

From their debut song "Black Mamba" to their most recent release, "Next Level," Winter, the group's lead vocalist, has shown off her solid vocals and excellent high notes. Winter has perfectly digested the "ae" concept, which many agree is difficult to tackle.

Additionally, Winter has made headlines with her innocent visuals that resemble Girls' Generation member Taeyeon.
