Brave Girls Becomes the First K-pop Girl Group to Top the MelOn Monthly Chart More Than Twice
On June 1, MelOn released the monthly chart for May 2021. Brave Girls, who achieved immense popularity after the reverse run of their 2017 song "Rollin'," took first place on the list.

Brave Girls is the First K-pop Girl Group to Rank No. 1 on MelOn Monthly Chart More Than Twice
Prior to topping the MelOn monthly chart for May 2021, Brave Girls reached the No. 1 spot for March and April with "Rollin'." This means Minyoung, Eunji, Yujeong, and Yuna have swept the chart for three months in a row.

No other girl group scored the No. 1 position on MelOn's monthly chart for three consecutive months or three times. Hence, Brave Girls has become the first K-pop girl group to do so. Brave Girls now holds the record of most No. 1 on the monthly chart.
Previously, Brave Girls tied with Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation to hit No. 1 on MelOn for two consecutive months.
In the past years, the only other songs that ranked first for two months in a row on the MelOn monthly chart were Wonder Girls' 2007 song "Tell Me" and 2008 hit "So Hot." Girls' Generation's 2009 track "Gee" also attained this feat.

When Brave Girls took first place on the monthly chart for two consecutive months (March and April), the quartet has become the first girl group after 12 years to achieve this milestone since Girls' Generation's "Gee."
And now, Brave Girls has the most No. 1 on MelOn's monthly chart among the K-pop girl groups, thanks to their smash hit "Rollin'," which has been considered a song that gives hope during this difficult time.
With its refreshing and addictive melody, plus the vocals of the Brave Girls members, "Rollin'" has become a must-have song in one's playlist these days.
