BTS is the Male K-Pop Artist That Gained the Most Twitter Followers in May 2021

Taking the number one spot as the male K-Pop artist that gained the most Twitter followers are none other than BTS! According to K-Pop Radar, the group gained a total of 1,027,967 new followers for the month of May alone. By the end of May, the group has accumulated a total of 35,887,423 followers since the creation of their personal Twitter account in July 2011, just two years before their official debut on June 12, 2013.

As of this writing, the seven-member group's Twitter account has more than 35,918,408 followers, gaining a total of more than 40,000 followers since the end of May. In addition, BTS is the most followed K-Pop artist on the social media platform.

BTS has been known to have an amazing social presence with their activity on social media, especially on their Twitter account, where the members interact with fans by posting personal photos, bits of their lives, and more.

Back on May 23 local time, BTS won four categories in the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The group won Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist, and Top Selling Song.

ENHYPEN is the Second Male K-Pop Artist That Gained the Most Twitter Followers in May 2021

Following BTS is rookie group ENHYPEN, who made their debut back on November 30, 2020, under HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) and CJ E&M's joint venture company, BE:LIFT Lab. According to K-Pop Radar, the group had gained 364,365 new Twitter followers for the month of May alone, and by the end of the month, ENHYPEN has accumulated a total of 2,955,724 followers on the social media platform!

As of this writing, the seven-member group, which was formed through the Mnet survival show, "I-LAND," has more than 2,965,573 followers since the account's creation in September 2020, making ENHYPEN the 35th most followed K-Pop artists on the platform.
